I am pseudo-hilarious, ever-curious, and always-adventurous.
My Self-Summary
I'm the guy that wells up at the transformation reveals on "The
Biggest Loser" and, much to the chagrin of those around him, can't
subdue his laugher when watching a painstakingly bad movie. If I
had one vice, it would be an almost supernatural weakness for gummy
bears.
I love music. I enjoy dancing - both on my own and the "with the
stars" variety. I can get rowdy at football games. I make awkward
"... that's what she said" assertions at inopportune times. I think
Maine might be the most beautiful state in this country.
My goals in life consist of one day winning "Survivor," an Olympic
medal and voicing a Disney character. My current aspiration? To be
able to stroll into the bar around the corner, pull up a stool, say
"Smitty ... the usual please, my good man" and have my favorite
drink be poured in front of me.
I moved to New York from Los Angeles in December and - despite
loving every minute - don't feel like I've even begun to uncover
all this city has to offer. I'm excited about the prospect of
meeting new people - both resident New Yorkers and recent
transplants like myself - and painting this town red.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a hard-working "working actor." I founded my own public
relations agency about a year ago and balance that with an
incubating stage career. I'm impatiently goal-oriented.
I’m really good at
making people laugh. A lot. I'm also quite possibly the greatest
listener in the history of ear-bearing organisms. It's true. I can
make you feel completely at ease and comfortable in less than ten
sentence exchanges, guaranteed. I'm extremely passionate, so
anything I take on or invest in is given my all. Whether it's
performance, building a business, cracking a joke or baking a cake,
you can bet it's going to wind up the best darn variation this guy
can possibly churn out (love it or hate it).
The first things people usually notice about me
is usually my eyes or my smile.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: The Beach by Alex Garland, Lord of the Flies by Sir William
Golding, Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
Movies: the "Bourne" trilogy, "Wall-E"
Music: Robbie Williams, Geri Halliwell, Gary Barlow, Take That,
Kylie Minogue, Michael Tolcher, Blake Lewis, John McLaughlin, Kelly
Clarkson, Rob Thomas, "Next to Normal"
Food: anything sans-trans fat, barbecue, cheese, chicken fingers,
gummy bears
The six things I could never do without
1. My family (cliché).
2. My friends (cliché-r).
3. Music.
4. Love.
5. Thunderstorms.
6. Rainbow sprinkles.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the future - where to go, who to see, how to do it - whether five
minutes or five years from now.
On a typical Friday night I am
taking in a show with friends, catching a movie or dining out for
hours on end. A phrase you'll hear me say quite often is "let's
make some memories!" Needless to say, I'm all about the experience,
no matter what it is ... if we laugh, count me in!
You should message me if
you're up for some boat rowing in Central Park, dinner at the Oak
Room, drinks at the Plaza, a trek out to the Statue of Liberty, a
day spent at the MET, an evening with Shakespeare in the Park, a
walk from one end of the island to the other, a night of hilarity
at the Upright Citizen's Brigade ... the list goes on and on!
