I tend to be a gentleman / classic 'nice guy' in my general day-to-day, but I can be a real ass when I desire or am compelled to be. My co-workers are generally surprised when I curse or crack a dirty joke at work, a reaction I frequently get, but put me in front of any game and I will blister the ears off a seasoned sailor :)(I guess growing up during the 8-bit era made a lot of Angry Video Game Nerds). Working on my car also has the same effect.
I'm actually pretty shy, and I still have a few deep insecurities, I've just gotten really good at pretending I'm not.
I thoroughly enjoy discussing and/or debating cars, racing logic and its physics, sci-fi, fantasy, and a myriad of other things. I can get pretty passionate about some, and I can be very confident in many of the conclusions I have drawn/argue for because I tend to have a lot of support for them, but I prefer discussion to childish argument. I can get heated and passionate, but I still try to maintain mature discussion.
Honestly I prefer a night in to a night out, staying in to watch a movie or just lounging around usually hits the spot for me. But a night out on the town, going out to bars or going to the city for a rock concert is always a bonus. I enjoy going to races, car shows, or visiting the city (usually for a concert). I attend EMRA events regularly and might be adding SCCA and NASA (not the space program) soon, it'd be great if you'd wanna tag along.
I am a very big car enthusiast. If you don't find me inside I'll probably be working on my car or one of my friends. On more then one occasion I've been under a car for a full weekend! Let me answer one question right now, I HATE NASCAR!! True racing involves more then just left turns, World Rally Championship, Formula 1, American Le Mans Series, Grand-am Rolex, and soon United Sportscar Racing, are just a few of the ones I watch. I have traveled all over the Northeast for racing events both as a spectator or to compete. I love riding quads and would like to try a dirt bike again (that's a story for another time).
