My favorite people tend to be those who will quietly discuss a New Yorker article about health care then binge drink to win a game; who will hike a mountain then waste an afternoon joking around on the couch; who will listen attentively to others then enrich a conversation with vivacity and wit. In other words, those who don’t feel the need to be something in particular (and therefore can enjoy doing all kinds of things).

MUSIC: The Arcade Fire, The Beatles, Etta James, Sufjan Stevens, Paul Simon. I feel like I listen to a little bit of everything but when I turn on the radio I feel so out of touch because I don’t know any of it.

FOOD: I'm a vegan but I'm seriously not one of THOSE vegans (I cannot emphasize this enough). I really don't care what you eat (unless it's olives...that will gross me out). I also really like cereal. Visitors to my apartment usually compliment and/or mock my 10-15 box cereal shelf.
