I am what it's all about, I got soul, and I'm super bad.

My Self-Summary

I'm in downtown Newark, right near the museum and NJPAC in this hipster corner full of interesting galleries, bar restaurants, and artist studios. When I'm not out exploring or doing something artsy or goofing around, I like to watch movies and tv shows on my projector, it's like a movie theater in my living room.

I also like to travel when I can. I've been all over the US, Spain, Italy, Amsterdam, Japan, Israel, and am looking forward to new places.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm an artist; visual, musical, and literary. I'm equally passionate about teaching and I like to hang out wherever there's some kind of art on the walls, a live performance, or good food. I'm excited because I recently moved into an apartment with enough room for a music and art studio.

I work as a substitute teacher while teaching ceramics and digital music to kids on Saturdays. I'm certified to teach art, but jobs are really thin right now. At the moment, I don't mind subbing; it pays the bills and allows me to focus more on my art and music which can also be rewarding and sometimes lucrative. I've shown art at a few galleries and have a couple more lined up. I was a featured artist on myartspace.com and more recently on a NYC based internet magazine. Also, I'm currently working with a friend on a concept album based on the Wizard of Oz and an experimental film in which I'm designing many of the props/sets.

I’m really good at

creativity of all sorts, teaching/mentoring/sharing wisdom, dancing, reading aloud if someone cares to listen, cooking breakfast, I also know way too much about music, computers and eastern religion

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm pretty easy-going

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

endless list... let me get back to this section later

The six things I could never do without

The love of my friends and family
Good art, music, literature, film
The sun, moon, stars, trees, rivers, mountains, animals, nature in general
Exposure to many ideas and cultures
A really comfy bed and the occasional good nights sleep
Everything else that is amazing and enlightening

I spend a lot of time thinking about

what's happening right at this moment, what to make next, who to inspire

On a typical Friday night I am

art opening, concert going, at the local hang-out or some unique place in the city, jamming with my peeps OR burnt out from the occasional crazy week and thereby writing song lyrics and firing up the projector to watch a good film or episode whatever of disc whatever from whatever tv series has me hooked. There's always Saturday night!

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I am a very open person, you'll get to know me pretty quick if you just ask!

You should message me if

you like warm, funny, artistic guys full of ideas
