My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
What we have here is a 1988 American Male with a bit over 26 years on the engine. Comes standard with two legs, two arms, and an optional beard.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a software engineer working with the federal government. My office is in DC, right across from all the museums, it's pretty sweet.

My main hobby is weightlifting, running, and studying nutrition. On top of that I'm always finding something new to get into: learning a new language, reaching a new goal, or trying to figure out how to use the semi-colon correctly. My most recent endeavor has been getting into meditation, care to send some tips my way?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I have this uncanny ability to take food things, mix it with other food things, and come out with something delicious.

I can tell the difference between butter and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter.

Somewhat of a Jack of All Trades, anything I put my mind to I can pick up pretty quickly (at least I'd like to think I am).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My old roommate described me as a "human dynamo" that was "eternally optimistic" shortly after meeting me.

I've also been told I have a nice butt more than once.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books:The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Douglas Adams could make anything exciting. Also, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Movies: Top three favorite movies off the top of my head are Man on Fire, Dumb and Dumber, and The Aviator.

Television: I'm not really much of a TV watcher, this always keeps me left out of all the watercooler conversation about, "oh, did you see yesterday's episode of Blah??" Even though I know I won't watch most of these shows I do my best to avoid spoilers! I do watch soccer though, and am a fan of Arsenal FC.

Music: Recently I've been mostly addicted to the ambient/electronic sounds of musicians like Bonobo, Four Tet, and Burial. I enjoy all kinds of tunes though, my iPod is considerably all over the place.

Food: I love food. All food. I don't pick favorites, and I am not prejudiced towards any cuisine. I do prefer eating anything with chopsticks though, it's just a little extra fun.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A good pair of shoes: I've gotta have a classy pair of kicks to keep me kickin'.

Music: I love sharing new music I've found with others, swapping music libraries, and just jamming out; got any recommendations? If I can catch a live show I will.

Daydreaming: During moments of boredom I find daydreaming helps.

Soccer: I need it in my life at least once a week.

Fitness: I've gotta stay healthy!

My Personal Value: If we can't trust in our personal value then we may not accomplish very much at all.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I find myself musing over what breed of dog I'll get someday.

Is there an alternative word for thesaurus?

If scientists found a way to make pie healthy the science community would get a major increase in funding.

How can I make the world a better place? You can fill an entire beach with grains of sand and, in this regard, I'm always thinking of the little things I can do to improve the lives of those around me. I'm hoping for a butterfly effect type of thing to kick in and usher in world peace. Care to flap with me?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm open to most all suggestions and I try to keep my weekends fresh. Maybe checking out a show or perusing a bar I've never been to before; who knows, that's the fun!

Real talk though, a good time for me is grabbing drinks with a group of friends and playing board games, like all the cool kids.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I was seven I yelled, "I'M A VIRGIN," at the grocery store, because I thought it meant I had some kind of super powers.

Oh, also, I had a decent fear of the dark up until I was 20. Silly, I know.
