I'm brand new to the Lansing area and would like to meet new people. Whether it be just as friends or something more. Looking forward to hanging out with fun, cool, and nice people.
What I’m doing with my life
Moved to Lansing to follow my passion in aviation. It's been a long and hard journey getting back into my field of choice but I'm thankful for the opportunities I currently have. In addition to learning and gaining experience in my field, I'm working towards other goals such as getting in better shape (bought a fancy treadmill!) and reading my Bible on a daily basis to simply being a better person overall.
I’m really good at
Video games, returning texts and calls in a timely manner (this seems to be a lost art), making delicious tacos and shrimp scampi, and giving hugs. Possibly the best hug giver in all of Lansing???
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: My top 3 would be 5000 year leap, Shatterpoint, and The Case for Christ. I enjoyed LOTR, Harry Potter, and the Hunger Game series too. The Divergent trilogy, not so much (sucky ending IMO).
Movies: Star Wars, 21 Jump Street, Happy Gilmore, The Eagle, We Were Soldiers, and almost all the Marvel stuff I can watch again and again. I'll go see something in theaters every week if there's anything decent out. I enjoy watching pretty much everything except for horror.
Shows: Ah, netflix is awesome. I haven't had cable for almost 3 years now (internet connection is all I need) but rewatching the Office has been great. House of Cards and Game of Thrones are ridiculously awesome as well. It might be my fanboy coming out but I feel the Clone Wars series is just as good.
Music: I don't really have a lot of favorite artists. I usually like a single song of a wide variety of people. For example, here's my top 5 songs from itunes: Semicolon- The Lonely Island, Hail to the King -Avenge Sevenfold, Blah Blah Blah -Kesha, All Star -Smashmouth, and TKO -Justin Timberlake. I usually stick with either Rock or pop though.
Food: Give me meat, pizza, or noodles and I'm a happy camper :)
The six things I could never do without
2. My family
5. Electronics in general
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Lots of things. The one idea sticking out to me at the moment is my desire to be more productive with my time. Instead of watching a movie, I'm learning a new skill sort of thing. Having said that, relaxation time is still important!
On a typical Friday night I am
Just the usual, Netflix, reading, or playing games with friends.
