Hey, welcome to my universe. Make yourself comfortable.

Music makes me happy. I play guitar and sing. I love the feeling of being on stage, and everyone in the room is brought together by the music. I also love it when I write a piece of music that really excites me, and it seems like it has the potential to be the best thing ever.

I like to talk about random, hypothetical stuff, or philosophy. Sometimes I like to talk about the universe, and sometimes I just talk about what it would be like to be able to run at 500 mph. Probably really tiring. I can run at 15 mph and that's knackering. Speaking of which...

I took up running recently. I'm amazed by how much I like it. My natural environment involves no physical effort at all, but running seems to improve my whole day. And the next day.

I am really ambitious and I like to talk with people who are passionate about stuff. I am grown up enough to do the dishes after dinner, but childish enough to be amused by Cool Runnings.

I can't imagine doing anything other than music. And, by incredible coincidence, music is what I do. Score.

Talking. Writing. Actually I just like writing messages, letters, and emails. I love exchanging messages, whether it's a sexy little flirtation or just a way of sharing what's on our minds.

I'm also excellent at making a mess and having no sense of direction. And I'm not bad at cooking, but I can never put food on a plate so it actually looks nice.

My hair. My hair is enormous. You might also notice that my jeans appear to be too tight. I need to keep running so I can continue to pull off this look.

Anyone who can recommend me new books, speak to me! I think of myself as a big reader, but it's actually only rarely that I start a new novel. My favourite author is Roald Dahl. I've read loads of books, but I've never loved anything as much as the BFG and Danny, Champion of the World.

OK, so I like High Fidelity (book and film), The Godfather (book more than film), Making History by Stephen Fry, anything by Chuck Klosterman, all rock music biographies, and my own diary (ok, I'm a narcissist).

My favourite singer is Butch Walker. You score bonus marks if you know who he is.

I like 80s films. They make me feel nostalgic and optimistic at the same time. Back To The Future rocks my socks. I love Quentin Tarantino movies, and Sin City.
