My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love life. I have taken my share of lumps, but I'm one of the happiest people I know. I dream big and fall hard, but I wouldn't change if you paid me. I am stubborn, yet completely open-minded. I am a shy person with a lot to say. I am sensitive to a fault and fiercely logical.

Yup. I'm your standard, living, breathing contradiction. It must sound intimidating, but it's the truth.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I teach ESL (English as a Second Language) to adults and children, mostly one-on-one. It's awesome. I talk to people from all over the world of different ages and backgrounds about pretty much anything they want to discuss. Surprisingly [or maybe not], common topics include: evolution, Masshole drivers/how the Boston city layout is like a practical joke, racism/prejudice, socialized anything, and how to order the drink you actually want from Starbucks.

UPDATE: I also now work for a mental health organization, revamping their resource helpline. I'm basically building a [very broad] database of mental-health-related resources so that when people call us we can tell them where to go for help :)

When I'm not working, I'm probably doing some kind of art, cooking/baking, volunteering, or trying to finish my Peace Corps. application.

Eventually, I want to work with people in a multitude of ways. I want to teach, learn from, motivate, listen to, and inspire people of all sorts. Currently cooking up a few schemes on how to accomplish these verbs.

All I really want to do is help people. I want to help people live the best possible life they can given what they have to work with...and I want to help them believe that such a reality is possible. I want to talk to as many people as possible about their ideas so that I can put people with similar ideas together and get shit done.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

... cooking, though I'm more of a baker
... looking at the bright side :)
... losing pens :(
... breaking technology :[
... creating [and maintaining] awkward situations

All right, all right...I know. A Song of Ice and Fire is an epically awesome series...I'm reading A Game of Thrones now [UPDATE: I'm like 35% through Storm of Swords...which means I might just catch up by the time Martin publishes the 7th]

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How we as individuals are so loosely connected to a shared reality... but I was a philosophy major, so it's not that weird

What to do next...I'm talking small and large scale here...this means I'm a scatterbrain with multiple to-do lists

Why the word "palindrome" isn't a palindrome, why the word "lisp" has both an /l/ and an /s/ in it, and other similar conundrums (re: palindromes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUQDzj6R3p4)

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I live with most of my close friends, so I'm probably hanging out with them, catching up on some art and/or lesson plans, or curling up with my kindle and a stein full of tea...Boston's cold, yo!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I truly believe that I have a spiritual connection to Vincent Van Gogh.
