I've been in NY for almost 2 years now after spending the last 10 in L.A. I'm originally from Syracuse and went to school in Buffalo. After 10 years amongst the palm trees, I am still getting used to the cold. And now winter's here. Hoo boy.

I've got a geeky side, but I'm proud of it. I'm also a bit cocky and a wiseass. I'm more of a talker than a listener, but I do listen. I can also sometimes be quiet and introspective, depending on my mood. My friends think I'm a goofball. I like to keep them laughing. I'm opinionated and competitive, but I'm fair and I try to see everything from all angles. I enjoy playing the devil's advocate. And if I'm wrong, I'm man enough to admit it. I'm a lot of fun at parties.

I love music, especially early 70's funk and jazz funk, which is odd since I grew up a metal head. At some point out west I guess I just got groovy. I also like movies, sports, art and animation, some TV shows and some video games. I bike ride, walk around a lot, enjoy going places and doing stuff. I like to create things when the mood strikes me. I like travel but I haven't done it enough. I'd like to go to Europe next year.

Living it! Whaddya think? The newest thing is the congas. I just bought congas and am learning to play percussion. I used to play drums, so that helps.

Playing piano I'm pretty good at. I'm pretty good at a bunch of things, but a true master at none. I like to keep well-rounded, like a jack of all trades.
