My main interests are music and film. I play a few instruments - guitar, bass, drums. I love to write and hopefully some day I'll be able to make a living doing that. Until that happens I'll continue flipping homes in Southern California. I love exercise and my favorite thing to do at the end of the day is go for a run.

I'm looking for someone who compliments me. Having things in common is overrated. I'm not looking for a yang to my yang - I'm looking for a yin to my yang.

Profile Writing Attempt #2

Let's see if I can add some more detail to this...

Some of the best days of my life involved cuddling all morning. Yes, I'm a straight man and I used the word "cuddle."

At one point I thought a manscaping business would be lucrative and rewarding until I found out manscaping had nothing to do with landscaping.

I sometimes feel I was a stand up comedian in another life. If we went out on a date don't be surprised if I spend most of the time trying to make you laugh rather than get in your pants. And if wearing your pants did make you laugh I'd probably do it.

I don't have a "type." I've been known to fall in love with women from completely different backgrounds, in all shapes in all sizes. How do you sincerely experience life only limiting yourself to one or two categories of people?

Playing guitar is a definite passion of mine. I've played in several bands and at one time I realistically planned to dedicate my life to playing music and actually make a living at it. However, with everything that's going on in the music industry, I just don't see how it's possible to break as a new artist without compromising my integrity. I do see myself returning to playing small clubs at some point. I've always wanted to be a jazz guitarist who tours the country playing little jazz clubs.

I can do a great New Jersey accent and a pretty spot on English one.

I have perfectly defined six-pack abs under an ample layer of protective karate fat.

Sometimes I steal other people's jokes and pass them off as my own (don't lie, you've done it too).

If you asked me if I've ever cried during a movie I will lie and tell you "no."

I was going to post some of the bands I listen to but in reality you've probably never heard of 90% of them and I don't think we need to like the same bands to get along.

When I go camping I don't bring a tent. There's nothing better than being up in the Sierras after all the camp fires have died, getting into my sleeping bag and staring straight up at a sky utterly transformed into a luminous pearly ocean of stars.

I watch more indie films than mainstream but I'm not a pretentious snob.

I love to read. I love bleak, existential novels yet one of the last books I read was called "Too Fat to Fish."

If you have a witty sense of humor and understand sarcasm you may have laughed a few times at this point. If you don't understand sarcasm you probably think I'm a complete sh*t head. Either way I'd still probably go out with you.

I could tell you about the wonderful, sensual things I'd to you if we were together in a more intimate setting but I feel actions speak louder than words. I'll give you a hint, it'll last 45 seconds and you won't feel a thing.

I try to write sexy, passionate prose but can't resist an obvious joke (see above).
