Hey Ya'll.
I'm a 26 year old college educated guy, recently transplanted to Staten Island. I have been lucky enough to work a bunch of jobs with a bunch of really interesting people, and I have always tried to find the humor in any situation. I've become hopelessly addicted to Snoodoku, although I really haven't mastered the hard setting. It is, however, loads of fun to go through every possible digit for every box in front of BFULDISASTER, or my sister. Drives them up a wall!! That'll teach them to be better than me!!

I enjoy random things. I can be in the middle of a conversation and something shiny will distract me, and start a 5 minute conversation before returning to the original. I occasionally find myself wandering through scrap yards with my dad, and we point out building parts, machine systems. They all look so out of place in a heap.

I like fixing and building things, either at work, or home or at friends. At any one point I have multiple projects going, with others lined up waiting. It helps keeps me out of any real trouble.

I was one of those kids who always wanted to be a fireman, and I was lucky enough to never out grow that. I've been working on the Lower East Side of Manhattan for 2 years now. Before that, I was a stagehand, where they for some reason let me climb really tall stuff, and operate really big stuff. I walked into a show at Giants stadium, saw people climbing steel and rigging. and said aloud "I wanna do that!"

I have just finished Good Omens. It took a while, but I loved it. My current endeavor is Access All Areas, about urban exploration. Otherwise, I've liked most books I've read, however I was not a fan of Where the Red Fern Grows, or Stonewolf. Apparently kids books about dying dogs get to me. The books I have read most recently were Water for Elephants, High Steel, Lamb, and assorted fire service textbooks.

As far as Movies, I am a sucker for the classics; basically anything by Mel Brooks, anything Monty Python, Clue, Noises Off, Hitchhiker's Guide, V for Vendetta, Run Lola Run, The Rock, Snatch, The Matchmaker, Boondock Saints, Sin City, Armies of Darkness, Sweeney Todd, The Mummy, American Beauty, Secretary, Quills, The Green Mile, A Mighty Wind, Spinal Tap, Serenity, though I liked the show more. I am a fan of mostly comedies, particularly dark ones, just not stupid ones.

TV, unfortunately, my schedule is such that I am never around often enough to watch a weekly show. Aside from that, DVD's have ruined me on watching TV, stupid commercials. I think the History Channel is the greatest channel ever, that Nickelodeon was way better when I was a kid, and that Cartoon Network needs to drop some of the crappy new stuff and go back to Tex Avery Presents, and Mel Blanc shows. As for Actual shows, Scrubs, My Name is Earl, Dirty Jobs, Axemen, Junkyard Wars, Are You Being Served, and Mythbusters are my fav's. I think it sucks that any show based on reality eventually shifts focus to people whining and bitching about perceived slights. I watch TV to get away from that shit!!

My family and friends, fires to fight, steel to climb, woods to go out and get lost in, my toys and my twisted sense of humor.

Whatever project I am working on at the moment. Unfortunately, I seem to spread myself a little too thin on occasion. Life in general, statements beginning with "wouldn't it be great if..."

Workin', on the real job or some side gig or another. It just seems to work out that way. Otherwise hanging out with my friends, or at home with my folks.
Lately, I've found myself at campfires drinking and singing with friends.

I've worn a kilt to work on several occasions. The best part is my coworkers like it!! Unless, that is, they're the ones standing under me in a pass line... I like to think its because the kilt shows off my nice legs.
