I am alive, mysterious, and open-minded.

My Self-Summary

I just moved to Columbia, I live with my two hetero-life-mates. I am a mountain that has been moved. I've been slowly picking up the pieces of my wrecked, piece of shit life, smiling the whole time. I don't know what I expect from this, I guess I just wanted to see if there are others out there, just as fucked as me.

What I’m doing with my life

I am currently taking classes as the Academy of Art University. I also have a crappy job at UPS to support my need for sustenance and video games. I am also deep into a piano phase, I have been tinkering with my keyboard and Garageband a lot in my ever diminishing free time. I am trying to figure out how to live rather than just exist..blah...blah...blah. Studying memes.

I’m really good at

Things that really don't matter. Video games, making people laugh and drawing. I am also a great mediator, and for some reason I am much better at solving my friends problems than my own. Procrastinating.

The first things people usually notice about me

Probably my hair....?

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I just finished Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, and Cat's Cradle by Vonnegut and am now trying to read through the rest of their works. Hunter S. Thompson is also an old friend, and of course Tolkien and King, have never led me astray.

I've been on a real film noir kick recently, and am really digging some old Orson Welles melodrama. I am a Kevin Smith die-hard fan, and am addicted to listening to SModcast at work.

As far as television shows, I rarely watch them when they actually air, i prefer to just devour a boxed set.
X-files, Dexter, Californication, Breaking Bad, Cowboy Bebop, TAEASGJ!, This American Life, Battlestar Galactica, The Simpsons, BtVS.

I have an irrationally serious love for music, my iTunes library is eclectic to say the least. Anything from Ween to Burt Bacharach...
AFI, Arcade Fire, Animal Collective, The Melvins, Band of Horses, The Beatles, Beck, Brand New, Bright Eyes, Broken Social Scene, The Morning Benders, The Carpenters, Cat Power, Circa Survive, Coheed, Cold War Kids, Death Cab for Cutie, The Dirty Projectors, The Dodos, Do Make Say Think, Fiona Apple, The Flaming Lips, Fleet Foxes, The Format, Green Day, Incubus, Interpol, Kings of Leon, Manchester Orchestra, Mates of State, Mars Volta, MGMT, Modest Mouse, NIN, Nada Surf, My Morning Jacket, A Perfect Circle, Queens of the Stone Age, The Raconteurs, Radiohead, RHCP, Regina Spektor, Say Anything, The Shins, Smashing Pumpkins, Tenacious D, TV on the Radio, Spoon, Tool, Vampire Weekend, Glados, Ween, The Weepies, The White Stripes, What's Michael?...to name a few.

Most food is great, so it would be easier to note the foods i don't like: popcorn and coconut. If somehow those two foods mixed....ugh I don't even want to think about it.

Tea...I have found that real, actual, not from a bag tea, is fucking brilliant. I love it. MMMMatcha!

The six things I could never do without

My glasses, an internet connection, chap stick, my DS, something to look forward to, a new television or book series to devour.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The inevitable, roads not taken, time travel, the importance of trivial events, the old days, the bad days, the all or nothin' days.

On a typical Friday night I am

Usually up to some kind of assorted mischief, either playing video games under the influence, or driving way too far to hang out with old friends.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I am not above quoting obscure song lyrics in normal conversation.

You should message me if

-You're as confused as I am and want to somehow merge our confusions into one grandiose ball of mother fuckery.
-You want to get high and watch The Room.
