I've been in Texas for a few years now, but have lived all over. I am a pretty mellow guy, and focus more on having a good time than setting the world on fire. I like to think my life revolves more around eating well, my friends, and the arts than financial success or others opinion of me.

Traveling has been the great joy of my life, and I spend most of my year looking forward to getting out of the country. Driving across a country I've never been to is about as happy as I get.

I love to laugh, and humor is a huge part of my day. Like most people in the service industry, most of my day is spent talking smack in the kitchen or behind the bar.

I don't have trouble meeting people and my social life is pretty active. I date semi-regularly, but nothing has really panned out lately. It's been a few years since i was in any kind of serious relationship, and it's something I really feel my life is missing. After hearing good things, thought I would check okcupid.

Bar tending at theaters, and museums, traveling, writing, going to shows, having a sweet beard.

I read a lot, favorites are Cormac McCarthy, William Blake, Kurt Vonnegut, and Herman Mellville. I love movies, and am a hardcore Netflix addict. Mostly brainy stuff, but I like the occasional dumb comedy, or horror movie. There aren't many shows I watch religiously, but I keep up on Breaking Bad, Louie, and a few others. I. Can't wait for the new Arrested Development to come out! Musically I'm all over. If I had to pick three favorites, they would be Tom Waits, Nick Cave, and Lou Reed. I go to shows all the time, and follow local music closely. Lots of punk and metal, but like I said I'm pretty eclectic with my music. I will eat anything once. Food is a huge part of my life, and my work.
