My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I should mention first that I was born and raised in South Africa, so I do have an accent, ( you might start reading funny in your head ) and I have been living in the States for 9 years now. Before I arrived on these shores though, I spent 10 months teaching English to kids in Ethiopia, was one of the most profound experiences of my life, especially when we had a really bad drought, worse then usual, and our drops couldn't come through fast enough. To look into a starving child's eyes and see the pain and hopelessness, well, that really puts life on this planet into perspective! Needless to say, I didn't eat much at all during those few months.

So, I am most passionate about life, living life to the fullest and trying to be the best I can be everyday. Sharing experiences with people you care about is the only way to go. I also love learning new things so I try to challenge myself both mentally and physically. Traveling is my favorite way to learn, seeing the world, meeting new people and exploring new cultures have changed the way I approach life. It's always fun to have someone to travel with and take turns picking destinations.

I also like creating things, anything, whether it be a picture, a story, a bookshelf, a burrito, or even a time machine ( patent pending )!

Just came back from an extensive 10 week trip through Spain, Italy, Croatia, Sweden and England! Amazing! South America is next on the list!

I work in TV production.

I like to try everything at least once, best advice I ever got about writing was...Write what you know!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Do I know what product I'm selling? No. Do I know what I'm doing today? No. But I'm here, and I'm going to give it my best shot! - Hansel ( Zoolander )
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening, side eyeballing, opening tight jars, juggling, directions, cooking, quoting old proverbs, asking questions, dodging through tourists, not posting shirtless pics in a mirror, owning suits and not wearing them!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The Prophet, only book I can always rely on, but these lists are redundant for me, my tastes change all the time. /shrug
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

- ocean
- fresh food
- Travel
- pen and notebook ( they go together, come on...)
- Utility knife
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why I always come back with mismatched socks! It's a serious problem!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
