I am fun-loving, bisexual, and emotional.

My Self-Summary

Astrologically I'm a Cancer and a Gemini because I was born on the cusp. I'm currently at a community college majoring in liberal arts. I'm interested in transferring to a four-year school and doing something with library sciences. I go clubbing sometimes on weekends, but usually just hang around with friends. I hang out at the local Denny's Restaurant a lot. My favorite genre of music is rock but I love listening to music of all kinds.

What I’m doing with my life

Going to community college to get my degree in liberal arts. I hope to transfer to a four-year school and eventually work as a librarian. I want to get a degree in library sciences. Hanging out with friends and studying take up most of my time, but I do spend a lot of time online and playing computer games. I'm working on trying to get up in the morning on time. I'm not a morning person! I'm a total night owl. I like to be able to go clubbing or hang out with my friends. Staying out late is great, it's the getting up the next morning that's tough!

I’m really good at

Helping other people work out emotional problems or relationship issues. I'm also in honors English classes so I guess I'm good at reading and writing and reading comprehension. (Just not spelling.)

The first things people usually notice about me

I've become a lot more outgoing recently, so people usually notice my personality first. Also, I don't really know what color my eyes are. People always get stuck between blue, gray, and green.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

(A)Books: I love books and reading! I still have to say that my favorite of all time is The Secret Garden. It's just one of those books that I live every time I read it. It made me fall in love with reading and the mystery of people. I also adore old fashioned keys because of it. Recently I've been reading a lot of science fiction and romance.

(B)Movies: There are tons of movies that I've never seen! I'm still a little afraid of the dark and can't really watch scary movies. I do love foreign films and independently made films, as well as romance and comedy. Movies that come to mind when I think of movies I like are: Amelie, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Secret Garden, Alice in Wonderland (both the Disney version and the live people version with Ringo Star as the Mock Turtle), Return to OZ (live version), The Phantom Tollbooth, The Nightmare Before Christmas (both the original and 3D), and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (both versions). Boy, that list was longer than I thought.

(C)Music: Pretty much everything. Mostly rock (modern [stuff coming out now] and oldies [late 40's to 60's]). My parents were born in late 40's/early 50's and I was born in the end of the 80's so I missed most of the 80's music, but I still like it.

(D)Foods: I love chocolate! Swedish Fish are really good too. I was a vegetarian for 4 years, until my nutritionist told me if I wanted to loose weight (which I needed to do) I had to start eating a little bit of light meat occasionally. I still prefer to not eat meat, but I do sometimes eat chicken or fish, and because of my family's eating habits (I live at home) I have had beef since. My favorite place to eat though is the vegetarian restaurant near me, though convincing anyone to go with me is a challenge. My best friend Adam is also a vegetarian and when he has time and the transportation is more than happy to join me.

The six things I could never do without

1. Love of some sort, especially if it was from myself. Learning to love myself is one of my ultimate goals.

2. Someone else to love other than myself.

3. Words. Language, both written, spoken, and signed has become so fascinating to me that I can't imagine not having it. Communication between people and between ourselves now and ourselves in the past and the future is just vital and amazing.

4. Color. My grandfather and brother are both red-green color blind, so color and the way we see it and portray it has always interested me. I've always loved art and how we can communicate with color and how the world looks.

5. Music. I've played the piano, violin, recorder, clarinet, and bass clarinet. Primarily the clarinet and bass clarinet.

6. Food. I've had more than my fair share of battles with food, but now food and I are at peace. Now, I have a hard time finding something to order off the menu because there's so much I want instead of so much I won't allow myself to have. It was thankfully a brief battle and I won. Now, I could definitely not do without food...especially chocolate!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Life. How to continue it and how to better it, not only for myself, but for others as well. I hope to someday help others learn how to at least continue their lives until they can learn to better their lives. I want to be content with myself. I don't want to be happy all the time or have everything materialistically. I want to be able to look at myself in the mirror everyday and say "ok, I can do this" and know that I can positively continue living my days.

On a typical Friday night I am

Out clubbing with my friends, mostly gay clubs, mostly because they're more fun in my area. Sometimes I'm at home watching TV and playing on the computer (it's addicting). Other times I'm hanging out with my best friend Sam. We go to Denny's or watch a movie or some TV. On Saturday nights though, I try to go to The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I always dress up, especially on Trashy Lingerie Night.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I've been in sexual situations with more than one other person (more than once!)

You should message me if

You feel like meeting a friend, a person to fool around with online, a person to hang out with in person in a group somewhere, meet because we go to the same school or will go to the same school, or even just a person to chat with or say hi to occasionally, that works too.
