Reading: Currently I am reading Dan Browns latest "Inferno". One of
his best offerings and I highly recommend you read it.
Star Trek novels, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Robert Ludlum anything
suspenseful like John Grisham, Shakespeare, Dickens.Cervantes(long
ANY Sci Fi ( Newest Star Trek was the BEST), anything with Queen
Latifa , Harry Potter (ALL), Mel Brooks comedies, Mel Gibson (Until
a couple of years ago when he went a bit coo coo LOL). Anything by
Harrison Ford ( except maybe that Amish one... just a bad choice as
an actor I guess) ANYTHING directed by either Clint Eastwood or Ron
Howard....They just don't make no junk! Any movie that moves me to
think, cry, be happy, or sad, or feel as a human being, (My actor
side I guess).
Jeopardy ,Sunday night cartoons... HEY come on admit it you watch
the Simpsons and Family Guy too! Fox News, Food Network, football
(EVERY WEEK THE PATRIOTS PLAY... It's the only sport I follow and
it is non negotiable...Well maybe a little bit negotiable at
Iz, Guster, Sade, Green Rovers, Michael Buble', Old Rock
(Meatloaf "Bat Out of Hell"), Van Morrison..."One Irish Rover", Bob
Marley, "No woman no cry" ... About his country NOT his girlfriend,
Fleet-wood Mac, STEVIE!!!, Jethro Tull, Anything with meaning ("God
bless the USA") or ("This land is your land"...Woodie Guthrie
...Those who know...know!)
WOW! Alfredo, Good Al Dante' home made pasta, Veal parm or Marsala,
Home Made bread, ANY great seafood, Oysters on the half...with
Horseradish sauce a squeeze of fresh lemon PLUMP Blue points...
AHHHH...DROOOL... Homer..... I don't do Doughnuts though!
Calamari ala Joseph.... You'll just have to ask now right?? LOL. My
home made Raspberry jam, Calamatta olives, Roasted or grilled
Veggies , Oven roasted tomatoes with olive oil and fresh basil
(Better than sun dried!!! Trust me!), Seafood Bernardi .
( I stole it from a really good seafood restaurant in Worcester MA
but I changed it enough to make it my own recipe... What cooking is
really all about. The Recipe consisting of a shrimp and scallop
dish with summer veggie, garlic, and broth made from the shrimp
shells, onion, garlic, carrot, and old bay reduced after removing
the solids to a med thick consistency and the shrimp sauteed in
this broth. No oil... No greasy taste NO FAT! A touch of white wine
here finishes...but I digress LOL.
Crab cakes from MD. THE BEST...although I make a nice attempt to
duplicate the taste. I never met a bivalve I didn't like... Clams,
mussels, oysters, little necks, steamers, Shrimp from the LA gulf
coast (Coming back after Katrina. Most you buy are from Indonesia
or Asia... Freshness is EVERYTHING when it comes to seafood but it
gets harder and harder to find head on prawns...AGAIN Those who
