I'm a Michigan girl who now calls the PNW home! I'm pretty sarcastic and very energetic and I like people who are comfortable being themselves. Sometimes I like to talk a lot and play my music loud and other times I bask in silence and enjoy just being. I feel most at home in the outdoors and can be convinced to go on most any type of adventure but am not too extreme about any. I like to climb rocks and sleep in a tent. I also love live music in the city and a night on the town. I love green smoothies and dirty martinis and drinking whiskey out of a flask. I listen to NPR and KEXP but also flip to KUBE93 from time to time. I am looking for a gentlemen who appreciates humor and enjoys all the good things life has to offer. Perhaps someone who wants to makeout in a double sleeping bag on a weekend adventure. And who isn't planning on voting for Donald Trump. Really, that guy makes me feel like I'm watching an SNL skit.
What I’m doing with my life
Striving for balance
I’m really good at
Laughing at myself, packing a picnic, writing letters, high fives,
parallel parking, Twister
The first things people usually notice about me
Eyes? Legs? Let's be honest- it's probably my Midwest accent.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: catcher in the rye, jitterbug perfume, extremely loud and incredibly close, into thin air, 1000 splendid suns
Movies: stand by me, death to smoochy, big fish, anything Wes Anderson
Shows: six feet under, arrested development, walking dead
Music: band of horses, gang starr, phish, grateful dead, beirut, beach house, ween, of montreal, mos def, my morning jacket, m.ward, dr. dog, heartless bastards, tame impala, real estate, tv on the radio
Food: sandwiches, kale, quinoa, tomatoes, almond butter, habaneros, whatever you want to cook for me
The six things I could never do without
A water bottle
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
Sacking around, partying, climbing, laughing, sleeping, cooking, packing, working, looking for trouble, listening to records
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I want to live on a farm.
You should message me if
You like picnics.
