You know what, I thought I'd find the idea of this Q & A matching cool. But I know from some of the reading that I've been doing lately that people are highly malleable in what they think they want and very poor at articulating what they really want. We think we want one thing, but are surprised and blown away when someone comes along that really attracts us.

Has this ever happened to you?

Another thing about this site: what is up with the questions? Half the questions seem to somehow involve sleeping together. While the other half end up being bizarre what-ifs like: "if you and your significant other lived on a cattle ranch, would that make your ideal match's opinion of George Bush increase, decrease, or stay the same???"

Anyway, here's some real dirt: when I'm out socially, I'm not the "crazy" life of the party; I'm the other kind. I'm making the observations and little jokes that finds the fun in everyday things. I'm really into self-improvement, so there's always something new I'm looking into. I know some neat little games that'll wow you, but I'm not going to be able to answer celebrity trivia on your crossword puzzle. Rather than live life on autopilot, I get the plans, help, and skills to get what I really want, and let the little things go.

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me

My height. Yeah, I'm tall, thanks for the comment. It was very original and perceptive. I'm ~super~ excited on the inside.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I love reading, because it's a way to have a conversation with the most skilled, entertaining, and insightful people from the past couple thousand years. Faves include Calvin & Hobbes, Jungian psychology, Kim Stanley Robinson, Blink, and whatever my curiosity kick of the moment is about. I really think non-fiction books are good way to boost your skills in almost any human endeavour. Plus, this medical book I got really grosses out my little sister.

I watch a lot less TV these days. I just keep up with a few favourite comedy shows: South Park, Seinfeld, etc. I also like things with story arcs. Do you have any suggestions? I bet that I would love 24 if I gave it a chance, especially since I have a secret connection to Kiefer Sutherland.

Also, what's up with that show Heroes? Everyime I see a commercial for it on TV the acting makes me cringe. Brutal.

In food, well, I’ll try almost anything new. My biggest problem is that I don’t like the berries: straw, blue, or rasp. I really like seafood, especially salmon with slightly lemon-touched dill sauce. Greek food, sushi, and Lebanese for a change are also great. I do appreciate good food and can fake it through a wine tasting. But when I cook for myself, I’m not picky and I don’t spend a lot of time on it. I'm currently experimenting with my diet a little.

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging with friends, reading, getting some shopping done. I need to decompress. Or maybe I'm cleaning to host some people on Saturday.

I was too into bars and clubs, but always live it up if the company's good.

You should message me if

Well, it's not I'll notice you otherwise. If you think you've got a shot, make me notice you.
