+ A passport: Upon turning 18 my parents took me
to get a passport, bought me a ticket to Eastern Europe and
encouraged me to open my heart and mind to the world. The freedom
and self reliance that trip instilled in me at a very young age has
helped shape the person I've become today. It also provided me with
an insatiable appetite for better understanding how other people
live and what inspires them. Travel is something that I continue to
embrace and my passport serves as a reminder that there are still
countless borders to be crossed and experiences to be had.
+ My tools: If I had to narrow it down to just
one, the most invaluable to me would undoubtedly be my rangefinder.
If I'm not in the studio I'm essentially roaming the streets like a
cyclops viewing life through a single line of sight. My cameras and
tools help me interpret and understand what I witness and keeps me
+ Inspiration: (Art/culture/film/music) I might be
filled with Irish blood but this is what keeps it moving. I'm drawn
to creative minds and ultimately what they are capable of
+ Coffee: You would think I thought coffee was
going to be banned soon, given the amount I consume. And because I
drink so much, it has to be good. My favorite roster is Dallis
Bros. by the way.
+ Access to: Broad, brutal, cold coastlines
hammered by endless storms and the wild unbounded sea beyond it.
I'm a very environmentally adaptable person but this is where my
heart beats the hardest.
+ Someone else: to share it with.
