Well I guess I can start by saying that my name is Kyle, and that I am a recent graduate of The Colorado School of Mines with a M.S in hydrology and recently moved to Albuquerque for work.
I love the outdoors and especially skiing. I am a fairly shy person but will open up once I get to know you. I play a fair amount of video games in my free time mainly StarCraftII and LoL, but am always more then willing to drop the games to do something if the opportunity presents itself, and because it seems like a lot of people use it my Meyers-Briggs is INTP.
I have also recently decided that I want to attempt to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail, and am currently hoping to set out in spring of 2017.
What I’m doing with my life
Starting a new job in a new city.
I’m really good at
Doing random things, I recently flew to Austin, TX to watch a movie
with a friend just cause I could and it sounded fun. I also pride
myself on being the person that you can call anytime of day for any
reason and I will be there. However my number one skill in being
able to make spelling mistakes and have no idea anything is wrong,
this is because I am Dyslexic and it looks right to me.
The first things people usually notice about me
On this site, maybe that my grammar sucks. In person I really have no idea you would have to tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Food: I will really eat just about anything, or at the very least
try it, some favorites are really any seafood or pizza.
Books: Slaughterhouse Five, Water, and not a whole lot more I don't
do all that much reading outside of technical paper because it is
quite the chore for me.
Shows: Suits, White Collar, Burn Notice, any thing netflix tells me
I will like.
Music: What ever is on aside from some of the more recent
Movie: Again anything netflix tells me I will like, I don't dislike
The six things I could never do without
2. A computer to use the internet with
3. Family/Friends (I know its what everyone says it but its
5. Night time(I just love being outside at night I am not sure why
but it's one of my favorite things)
6. Spell Check (Let's be honest this may be the best invention in
the history of the world)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I am going to get myself ready physically and mentally for the Appalachian Trail.
On a typical Friday night I am
I will likely be playing StarCraft II or a number of other games with friends from college. I don't really go out much but may be draw out from under my rock on occasion.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't know what a good thing to put here is, so I will try to
think of something.
You should message me if
If I sound like someone you could get along with and/or would be interested in talking too and seeing where it leads. Also feel free to contact me for a hike, skiing lessons(I was a ski instructor for a year) or anything along those lines.
I would also love to hear from you if you are interested in doing a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail.
