I'm a single dad juggling full time work with raising two girls.
That's important as it dictates a lot of my time, but I should make
clear I'm not looking for a mother to the kids.
I've been writing
as long as I remember. Mostly high fantasy stuff, but I've been
moving towards urban fantasy and children's stories. Of
course I read as much as I can as well. Victorian era novels are a favourite
as well things like Neil Gaiman. And The Last Unicorn is one of
the best stories about stories ever told.
I've got a big inner geek but don't worry, I work well in social
situations too. I can be sarcastic and I think quick witted, but not
unkind. I prefer smaller groups to large crowds generally - never
been one for the bar scene, I like to be able to converse.
I like to get out and try to be generous. I have a wide range of
tastes and I'm pretty open to new things. My iPod will atest to
that.

What I'm doing with my life
My life is balanced between work and raising my kids. In between I
try to find time for my own pursuits. Lately I've been cultivating
a book collection - leatherbound or over sized hard covers of
classic novels, prose and poetry. I fully intend to read them
all!
I'm continually trying to learn more things - whether a new subject or deeping my current knowledge. I fear the day I stop learning.
