Oh the evil of the self-summary. How to make yourself seem alternately cool, yet humble? If anyone has figured that out, let me know! I studied anthropology, philosophy, and sociology in college. I have a three part time jobs right now, but I'm thinking about going back to school to get a career.
Some things about me: I've been in Omaha for around four years now, I enjoy reading, gardening, taking photos, talking with people, the internet, traveling, the outdoors and many other things as well. I'd like to get out and enjoy Omaha more, but it would be a lot more fun another person! I live in an awesome apartment in Midtown that I love. I like cats, ethnic food, intelligent conversations, and flowers. Pretty random, but that's kind of how I am.

Most people think I'm a little odd when they first meet me, but tend to like me after getting to know me.

I read a lot, so its hard to come up with just a few books as favorites. A few of my favorite authors are Orson Scott Card, Steven Brust, Piers Anthony, Terry Pratchett, and Christopher Paolini. Recently I've been listening to books on CD during my commute to work. I'm finding I appreciate classics much more then I had previously thought.
Movies..again, there are tons of movies I like. I particularly gravitate towards comedies or historical fiction type movies. Drama is good, stereotypical chick flicks, not so much. I like Monty Python's Holy Grail, Fight Club, the first three Indiana Jones movies, the first three Star Wars, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Moulin Rouge. I probably like tv a bit more then movies. My two favorite shows are Doctor Who (LOVE), and Firefly.
Music..classic rock, 90s pop, and country. I like some of the stuff on radio these days like Lady Gaga, Carry Underwood, and Adele, but they do tend to overplay EVERYTHING. I have fairly eclectic taste in music. I'm not a fan of rap or metal
Food..I really like food from other cultures. I'd like to try more Indian food one of these days. I will try just about anything else, unless it smells like it came from under water :P

I need more people to hang out with. My typical Friday night these days is spent at home chilling.

I sing at the top of my lungs when a good song comes on the radio and I'm in the car alone.
