My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
To tell you the truth, I'm not exactly sure how to describe myself. I think I'm funny, pretty smart, and have a good sense of humor. I hope my friends and acquaintances would agree. I enjoy spending time with people and going on outings with friends. There are some great restaurants in town that I enjoy. One of my favorites is Crescent Moon. They have great food and I like trying new beers. I also liking going on walks, hikes, thrifting, and going to different events around town. I enjoy my time at home as well. It's nice to relax and watch a good show or movie after work.
I've been in Omaha for around six years now. I moved here right after college for a job that didn't last very long. All and all, not a bad place to live. The climate beats where I'm from in North Iowa. I'm really enjoy gardening, so having a couple of extra weeks in spring and fall is a big deal to me.
I enjoy reading, taking photos, talking with people, the internet, traveling, crafts, the outdoors and more tv shows then I like to admit to. I'd like to get out and enjoy Omaha more, but it would be a lot more fun another person! I have a stable job, that I'm not in love with, but pays the bills more or less. Having insurance is nice! I live in an awesome apartment in Midtown that I love and don't plan on leaving anytime soon.

Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
That is a very good question.

I read a lot, so its hard to come up with just a few books as favorites. A few of my favorite authors are Terry Pratchett, Orson Scott Card, , Piers Anthony, JK Rowling, and George R.R. Martin. Recently I've been listening to books on CD during my commute to work. I'm finding I appreciate some of the classics much more then I had previously thought.
Movies..again, there are tons of movies I like. I particularly gravitate towards comedies or historical fiction, sci fi, and fantasy type movies. Drama is good, stereotypical chick flicks, not so much. I like Monty Python's Holy Grail, the first three Indiana Jones movies, the Star Wars IV,V, and VI, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Moulin Rouge. I probably like tv a bit more then movies. My two favorite shows are Doctor Who (LOVE), and Firefly. I could list a lot more, but it would take up too much space and make me look like a shut in :p
Music..classic rock, 90s pop, and country. I like some of the stuff on radio these days like Lady Gaga, Carry Underwood, and Adele, but they do tend to overplay everything. I have fairly eclectic taste in music. I'm not a fan of rap or metal
Food..I really like food from other cultures, especially Indian food. I wish there were more reasonably priced Indian food places in my area. I will try just about anything else, unless it smells like it came from under water :P
