Hey. I'm a student at UCI. I'm relatively new to OC. I am ridiculously shy when meeting people.

I'm a casually self-taught guitar player and enjoy playing and singing but it remains just a casual hobby. I sing very loudly along to my music when I'm driving. Most of my other hobbies would be considered fairly geeky (But common. Ask.). I like drinking socially or on special occasions but don't do it all the time. I like microbrews. I also like red wines. And sours. Say what you will.

I can play the clarinet.

Being up to date on what is going on in this country and around the world is very important to me. Apathy is bad. I sometimes enjoy discussing politics and US History, especially when they go together.

I make webpages that do things and have been paid for it.

I really love going to shows and I should appreciate that I'm in an area where I can see a lot of them, but I don't do it as much as I would like to.

I found out last year that I like traveling. I intend to get more use out of this passport.

I am currently a student majoring in Computer Science at UC Irvine. I work remotely occasionally for a small website development company based out of my home area.

Consistently choosing the highest scoring case in Deal or No Deal at Boomer's. Seriously I am the Rain Man at this. Just let me know if you need copious amounts of useless tickets and I can hook you up.

Truthfully I have no idea. I sometimes have a hard time figuring out what to do with my hands.

I love indie and foreign films but go to see more mainstream movies just as often. It would be hard to make a list here so I'll make a horribly abridged one:
The Shawshank Redemption, Most Quentin Tarantino films, 5cm Per Second, Jin-Roh, Garden State, Lost in Translation, United States of Leland, Boondock Saints, The Virgin Suicides, Election, Rushmore, and many, many more. I watch a lot of movies.

I also watch anime, but I hide my power level.

I don't personally own a TV. I watch all my stuff online, and it mainly consists of The Daily Show, Colbert Report, Rachel Maddow, and Real Time with Bill Maher.

As for music, I listen mostly to indie rock / pop but there's a pretty big range of stuff in my music folder. My all time favorite artists:

Death Cab for Cutie, The Good Life, Jimmy Eat World, The Appleseed Cast, Old Weezer, Sunny Day Real Estate.

I get most of my news from Reddit, The Daily Show, and Politico.

My fooding habits are kind of random. I basically just don't like shellfish.

Tacos, the interwebs, good music, being able to do strange things with my left arm, delicious cake, intellectual debate.
