My Self-Summary
Hmm... perhaps I can express this another way:
(Gortex X good resting heart rate)/7 or more pairs of impractical pumps and mules X a love of chocolate = a great date
I really enjoy healthy pursuits (running, cycling, skiing and yoga – not at the same time of course) and some of the less healthy ones, again, to ensure equilibrium is achieved. I also have quite a ridiculous sense of humour and love board games.
I love cooking (mostly because I love eating) and at the moment, I’ve given myself the challenge of perfecting short crust pastry.
That said, I do do things other than cook. I spend quite a bit of time running and cycling (everyday to work), speak Spanish badly and plan to improve my rock climbing skills. And have recently done some great trial runs in the Lakes.
I have to admit it, but I think I’m also a bit of geek. I would much rather read New Scientist than Grazia and like to do ‘craft’. Yep knitting and embroidery are part of my skill set and I think it’s cool to make ‘stuff’. Although I am a girly girl with painted toenails and long hair, I don’t watch the soaps nor subscribe to magazines that offer the best bedroom techniques – don’t need them!
I’d love to meet other sporty geeks out there so do get in touch if you’re interested. My ideal date would be tall, fun, active and smarter than the average bear.
Also, I like men to be men. If you take more than 40 mins getting ready, you’ll probably be frustrated that I don’t present myself like a footballer’s wife. If you regularly get hammered or have a propensity for mind games, you’re probably not for me either. I’m looking for fun-loving, uncomplicated, educated men that can laugh at the ridiculous.

Is there a faster way to get to work?
Do other dating sites have 'bait members?' i.e. members that encourage partial sign ups to put in their credit card details...and does this site avoid this as it's free?
What's the Spanish word for that?
Random conspiracy theories.
Work.
People watching - where's he from?, how old is that child?, where did she get that handbag from?
Environmental/climate change stuff... but that can be a bit depressing.
