My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have many interests with which I tend to fly directly between rabid fascination and mild disinterest, with a few layovers at a healthy amount of enthusiasm.

I love trying new things and I am always searching for novel things. I find it exhilarating. I try to terrify myself. That is why I have gone skydiving, run with the bulls, and planning to scuba dive in a shark cage this year.

However, I balance all that terror and exhilaration out with the little things that are entirely comfortable and familiar. Sometimes, you need some things to be the same, old, and boring. I have been getting the same thing at Chipotle and Cold Stone for years. I have my favorite movies and tv shows, that I can watch over and over again. It just recharges the batteries.

I have a career that give me wonderful security and allows me to accomplish everything in the previous sentence.

Other than that, I have no idea.

I love reading and finding new books to devour so I tend not to read books multiple times. A couple that I have read multiple times are the Giver and the Hobbit . I love both of those books, they were among the first books I read and they have a special place in my heart.
I love books that make me wonder and make me think. Also, being funny is good too. Some books that do that for me are Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, World War Z, Catch-22, Kitchen Confidential, The Mote in God's Eye, Lies my Teacher Told me, A Song of Ice and Fire Series, Freakonomics, Predictably Irrational, and Confessions of an Economic Hitman .

Caddyshack for Rodney Dangerfield's one-liners. I am a big fan of Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead. I loved 'The Fifth Element' because the main protagonist and the main antagonist never actually meet in the movie. In Bruges for the great writing and fantastic dialogue. Shawshank Redemption because it is everybody's favorite. It is an amazing movie. Also. How to Train Your Dragon, Pixar movies, zombie movies, Blazing Saddles, Contact and so many more.

TV shows:
Archer, Arrested Development, Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Community, Daily Show, Doctor Who, Firefly, Game of Thrones, The League, Sherlock, South Park, Tosh.0, The Wire.

I love me some Ethiopian Food, Pho, Indian food, Thai food, sandwiches, barbecue ..... basically everything.

I have a cobra in a bottle of rice wine on my bookshelf. It was a gift. It is usually covered with a t-shirt because snakes give me the 'willies'.
