Im very laid back and easy going. Life is full of choices and I believe that the quality of life I have is a direct result of the choices I make for myself. Some may say I have an off the wall sense of humor, I find humor in some of the strangest things.. I dont sweat the small stuff.. firm believer in chose your battles, not everything is worth wasting time and negative energy on.
I am very close and dedicated to my family and friends. They are all very important to me. I am very affectionate and touchy feely with those I love and care about. Those close to me will always know that they are loved.
I am assertive, and believe that communication is important. Not many topics I am not willing to discuss. Looking for someone that also feels communication is a necessary quality to possess.

What I’m doing with my life

Right now I am living one day at a time.. I work with Middle School age children, I feel this age group is the one that needs the most guidance.. they are no longer little kids and not quite teenagers either.. very confusing for them.
I have been living alone for almost 3 years now and though I enjoy living alone, I have come to the conclusion that I dont want to be alone all the time.. alone is ok.. lonely.. not ok.
I am looking for someone with a strong spirit but gentle soul.

((I like to play pool.. not great at it but I hold my own. I am a people watcher, I am pretty good at reading people. Love street fairs and festivals.. classic cars and car shows.. enjoy the races, smaller track venues have been fun.. have never seen the big boys race.. someday. Love to cook for family and friends. Concerts, cant beat live music)).. Lots of interests but you will have to be willing to invest the time in me to find out all there is to know. There is much more to me than a few paragraphs can reveal.

First things people usually notice about me.. my hair, my eyes. What you see is what you get.. I dont try to be anything that I am not. People will either accept me for who and what I am... or not. Their choice.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I do like to read, but dont always find the time. Favorite authors are Jean Auel, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Ann Rule... and others. I lean towards scary movies, but that isnt all I watch and enjoy. My music tastes lean towards classic rock to current... country is ok but I dont seek it out, Love R&B and Outlaw Blues... some jazz, all depends on my mood. Anything live is good no matter what the genre. I love all kinds of foods.. not too many things I dont care for.. a few but not many..

The six things I could never do without

Number one thing I couldnt do without is COFFEE... I consider myself a conissuer not an addict, lol. But seriously... there are a few things I will not do without in any choices I make... communication is tops.. I want to meet someone that places the same priority on that aspect of a relationship.. Honesty.. very important, I will always be honest and want the same in return, Trust.. if you have trust, you have it all. You cant love if you cant trust. Monogomy is important, when I am with someone, I am with them, no one else. Just who I am. Dependibility is important, if you make a promise follow thru.. no hurt feelings that way and knowing you can depend on someone goes hand in hand with trust. Tolerance.. for the differences in people, respecting each others right to be who they are without fear of judgement.
