My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm originally from Northern California, but have lived on both coasts of the US and in Germany. I had a blast in Seattle for the past couple years and plan to have a great time in Boston. I'm constantly seeking out fun new experiences. My life has been one big adventure after another. I have been able to see a lot of the world thanks to being stationed in Germany and Japan while in the Army and getting to go to the top and bottom of the World while on the Coast Guard Ice Breaker "Polar Sea". Feel free to Google it.

My last exotic destination was Thailand. I haven't picked a new destination yet, but I was thinking of Brazil and or Peru. I like comedy, movies, documentaries, TED talks, martial arts, playing and watching sports, working out, running, yoga, music, art, design. Before leaving Seattle I designed The US Coast Guard Base Seattle Logo. Feel free to google that too. I'm also a sucker for trying things I've never tried before. In the past I’ve run a number of races including a couple of marathons and a sprint triathlon. I don’t really run long races anymore. I did the "Spartan" race with some friends. I found it to be fun, tough and muddy. I definitely plan to do more obstacle races. I haven’t signed up for an official crossfit class, but do take advantage of the crossfit trained people and equipment at my Coast Guard gym.

I thought I would answer some common questions:
Do you like/love dogs?
I love dogs, cats and most other animals as well. Friends tease me for always wanting to stop and play with every random dog I see. I think spiders and other insects are cool parts of the ecosystem, but my initial reaction is to kill them. It would be fitting karma for me to be reincarnated as an insect only to be immediately stepped on.

Are you in the Military?
Yes. I was in the Army, but am now in the Coast Guard. It is the smallest branch and the most relaxed of the services. So much so, that most don’t even associate it with the military.

Do you like/have tattoos.
I like a lot of tattoos, but I don’t have any tattoos which is rare for someone in the military. I have designed a number of tattoos for friends. It has been annoying to see a design I made and thought was equal to a Ferrari be reduced to looking more like a minivan by a friends tattoo artist.

Do you live on a ship or in a barracks?
No I currently have an apartment in Revere and rent out a house in Everett, WA.

Are you extremely conservative?
No. I have some Conservative/Libertarian views, but find myself agreeing with Jon Stewart and Bill Maher on most issues.

Are you Religious?
No. I was raised Christian and still hold Christian values. I respect other faiths and know that I don’t know everything. I’m Agnostic with spiritual tendencies. What is weird is that I find I’ve become a better Christian now that I’m not a Christian.

Do you fly or jump out of helicopters like in the movie "The Guardian"?
No. Although, I did jump out of perfectly good aircraft in the Army and have gone sky diving.
I am however proud to be part of a service that saves lives on a daily basis and allows me to travel to cool places and do extraordinary things.
