I'm just Mike, as you may have noticed. Okay, so I'm actually pretty awesome, but to find out why, you'd have to talk to me. I'm too humble to list all of the reasons why I'm so incredibly fantastic here. Well, it's not just the humility - it's also that there's only so much space on the Internet, and an exhaustive list (which would naturally include my aforementioned humility) would use so much of that space that to make it fit, someone would have to delete at least one cat video. And neither I nor the Internet as a whole would stand for that.

A lot of things. I usually don't think I'm good at them, though. I'm good at being honest. I feel that forthright communication is key to pretty much everything.

It used to be my hair. But now... I actually think I'm fairly unremarkable. Well, until I start talking.

I like a lot of music, but I'm not the kind of person who knows much about the bands themselves. Whenever people talk about band members for more than a couple sentences my eyes glaze over and I start thinking about Batman or something. But I enjoy listening to music.

Most of the books I read these days are either nonfiction or graphic novels (I'm comic book nerd, deal with it). However, I was an English major once upon a time, so I do know most of my Major American/British Literature.

I love food. Many kinds of food. I love eating food and quantifying what I love about the food that I'm eating. Why are we still here? Let's go get something delicious to eat!

Y'know, I've never been fond of this question because it's usually used as "six things I like and maybe you like them too." Instead, I'll point out that beyond basic biological needs, there's not much I can 'never do without.' I'm adaptable, and even in the face of tragedy or long periods without creature comforts I can cope. It turns out I'm pretty durable.

Oh, and six things I like, in no particular order, are cats, coffee, games of many types, history, and comedy. Oh, that's only five. I guess the sixth one is you.

...the future, the past, food, sex, game theory. How's that for a lineup? I do think about other things, though. But do you really think I'm going to list everything I think about here? No, of course you don't.

I don't remember the last time I had a 'typical Friday night.'

I'm looking for low-maintenance, low-commitment, physical relationships with women while also being a married man. How much more personal do you want? I am, of course, seeking these relationships with the complete backing of my wife hellolibrarian. If you don't believe me, ask her. She'll tell you that she's fine with it as long as you're responsible, respectful, and not crazy. She should also tell you how great I am, but in case she forgets: I'm great.
