I'm one of those fun types, but one who enjoys learning and working
hard. I am working on my B.S. degree in Communications and am
planning graduate school (haven't decided between law and HR). I am
interested in guys who also place a priority on improving
themselves through education and/or in their careers. I started a
new job in November in HR; however, I have already been given a
promotion which starts the week of Christmas. I'm not sure how I
feel about it yet. . . ask me later.
I really enjoy life and being active!! Love hiking, exercise, camping (though no one will
go with me) and animals. I have two dogs, one is a five-pound Shih
Tzu puppy named Toby and the other is a 14-year-old Westie mix
named Caesar. They are much better than human children and are much
more appreciative of everything! No. . . I don't have human
children.

My self-summary
What I'm doing with my life
As stated, I'm working on my degree and working on improving
myself. I have worked hard to lose 167 pounds in 11 months and will
soon be at goal weight. Exercise and outdoor activities have become
a major part of my life and I would like to meet someone who feels
the same way.

Besides, making friends, I'm really good at writing and music. I
was a piano performance major right out of high school and used to
practice 12 hours a day! I know. . . a little crazy, but it taught
me a lot about hard work. I'm also good at making people feel
comfortable and making them laugh!
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me
They always notice my smile and lately, how much weight I have
lost. Mostly, people just don't recognize me anymore, so I spend my
time re-introducing myself to old acquaintances!!
They also tend to notice that I'm pretty happy and even-keeled. I don't believe in freaking out whenever something bad happens. . .if you wait long enough, everything gets better.

Books - I like medical and legal fiction!! I know, it's geeky, but
I have worked in the medical field and have an aptitude for it! I
love a good legal novel!
Movies - Well. . . I like everything but crude comedy. I also like a good horror movie (not zombie movies, just eerie ones). It's the ones that COULD happen that are the most scary.
Television - Boston Legal, West Wing (darn them for taking that off the air), House, Two and a Half Men.
Music - I like everything but country, rap and techno.
Food - I don't eat bread, pasta, sugar, or junk food. Kind of limiting, but it's been 10 months since I've eaten that crap and I am totally feeling great!! The good thing is that I don't eat very much anymore so I'm a really cheap date (no, not easy, you dirty-minded perv).
