Thanks for reading my profile.

I liked this quote:
"The best love is the kind that awakens the soul; that makes us reach for more, that plants the fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds." from The Notebook.

I'm a left handed, LA Native guy with a lot of love to share. Believe in romance, have a big heart and a lot of passion give to you. I'm driven, dedicated and like reaching for what I want in life. Don't follow the crowd mindlessly, but make my own way in life, though will take advice from friends, and mentors. I like going outside my comfort zone and the unknown. I enjoy traveling, pretty much active (running, yoga, swimming, dancing, etc.) and kind people with open minds. I value communication above all else, I do listen. Visually creative, problem solver, empathic, Not into pettiness, narrow thinking or judgmental.

My partner is adventurous to try new things, passionate about life, affectionate, loves to laugh, kind, enjoys sharing, a good kisser, and open with her feelings.

Is this your scenario?

Let’s call her Claire. She’s cute, smart, and successful. She’s frustrated though, because she can't find a man. I listened at length about how difficult her search has been. About how all the “good ones” were taken. About how her other friends had found their soul-mates, and how it wasn't fair that she had not.
Here’s the thing. Claire doesn’t really want a man. She wants the “right” man. She wants a soul-mate. Specifically, a soul-mate from her zip code. She assembled this guy in her mind years ago, and now, dammit, she’s tired of waiting!!
She complains about being alone, even though her rules have more or less guaranteed she'll stay that way. She has built a wall between herself and her goal. A wall made of conditions and expectations.
Is it possible that you've built a similar wall?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
For me there is no typical Friday. Going to art galleries, theater, dance, standup comedy, or a good movie are awesome possibilities. I was running long distances on Saturday mornings, now moved it to Sundays.
