Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, hello! The name's Brogan...derived from the Gaelic word
'brog' meaning shoe. Exciting, I know.
A born and raised Floridian, I've grown weary of palm trees and
colorless falls. As of June 2012, I have been working to establish
myself as a transplanted New Yorker.
I am a person of many dreams and aspirations, and should (could) I
settle on just one for long enough, it will (would) inevitably
become a reality. My move to NYC has turned out to be a dream
fulfilled by a whimsical choice, and I can't wait to see where this
adventure leads me.
I'm a performer with a spiritual side. I enjoy experiencing food,
tea, thoughtful walks, a glass of wine and a host of other things.
A Wine sipping foodie buddy would be pretty fantastic.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
As of this very moment, I'm working on this profile. I know...I
I am now and will always be an actor/singer/performer of some
variety, on some stage, in some place. That said, I spend my days
looking for ways to improve myself artistically, spiritually, and
(last but not least) financially.
I work a full time job as a manager in a new age metaphysical shop
selling stones, candles, incense and all manner of things
spiritual. Before I ever even thought of being an actor, I imagined
I would live an amazing life owning a shop much like the one I work
in now, and I'm loving every minute I get to learn more about this
business. A little Giles in the making, I am.
This honestly leaves me little free time outside of work. But when
I am eventually off the clock, I like to explore this still new to
me city, write, create fantasy worlds in my head, contemplate
opening themed bars, sip some wine, go thrifting or antiquing...and
many more things than I could conceivably list here. Every single
day is an adventure! What better place to get lost and find
yourself anew than New York City?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
+earnestly listening and giving (solicited) advice
+sipping tea and making it sexy
+thrifting: name a costume. I'll find you the pieces you need
+making silly noises
+remaining optimistic and cheerful
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
+My rosy cheeks.
+I sing out my activities.
+I can 'dance' (using that word lightly) to most anything.
+I prefer to find little restaurants over large chains.
+I own the mess out of my sub-par fashion sense.
+The silly noises from day one? They happen all the time.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
+friends/family (often one and the same)
+water (call me an addict, but I think I would die without
+adventure (large or small)
+cheese (no explanation needed)
+imagination (in myself and others)
+just a pinch of magick (to keep life interesting)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
+what I want to be when I grow up. I know exactly what I want, it's
more the matter of making my way there that occupies my
+different structures and systems of magic throughout the many
+rocks, gems and minerals. This is a recent development due heavily
to my current employer. They've brought out an interest in me I
didn't even know was there.
+the nature of the Universe and where we all fall into place.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working at the shop until 8pm, and then it's anyone's guess! The
only truly typical thing about my Friday night is that it doesn't
actually end until at least 2am on Saturday morning.
Something to note: My personal Friday is actually Tuesday...making
hump day my favorite day ever.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once had a sex dream about Aaron Carter. We were both teenagers
at the time. His limo broke down outside of my house, and he came
it to use the phone. It was magical.
