My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Just a guy trying to figure things out.

I'm originally from Texas but arrived in Utah a few years ago by way of Florida. Long story. Didn't like it here much to begin with but it's grown on me a lot and I'm not sure I'd be in a rush to leave anytime soon.

I did the college thing on and off for a few years but ended up in a really good field that pays well without requiring a degree. As a result I put school on the back burner for a few years but have been seriously considering going back lately.

Other than that I'm just living my life. I know it's totally cliche but not sure what else to put here really. You only get one shot at this life thing so might as well enjoy every minute of it while you can.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Like I mentioned before I have a career that I really enjoy that pays pretty well so I can't complain on that front. I can be a bit of a workaholic but was always taught that you get out of work what you put into it.

Besides work I can usually be found playing softball, hanging out with friends at RSL matches and elsewhere and attempting not to kill myself while playing ice hockey. I've just picked up the sport in the last year or so and I'm really enjoying it despite being hilariously bad.

Oh and I'm frequently browsing the internet. Probably more than is healthy.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh. Interwebing. Reading. Telling stories. Over analyzing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably the fact that I look considerably younger than I am.

Oh and I have a big muscle-y arm sticking out of my back but my friends tell me it's really not that noticeable.

(Bonus points for you if you got that reference)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Pretty much anything, really. I read at least a book or two a week for fun. I just finished True Grit by Charles Portis and I highly recommend it to anyone. Other favorites include classics like 1984 by George Orwell, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, The Lord of the Rings by Tolkien, and too many others to list. Also if you haven't read the 'Song of Ice and Fire' books by George Martin they are AWESOME. READ THEM IMMEDIATELY.

Movies: This list would be even longer than my book list if I had time to fill it out. Instead I'll just name a few: The Departed, Inception, City of Men, The Town, In Bruges, Step Brothers, Zombieland, Memento, The Dark Knight, The Prestige, Snatch, RockNRolla, and tons of others.

Music : Circa Survive, Rise Against, Hawthorne Heights, Coheed and Cambria, the Airborne Toxic Event, Kings of Leon, Anberlin, Arctic Monkeys, Blink 182, Bloc Party, Bob Marley, the Bravery, Bright Eyes, Cartel, Death Cab For Cutie, Dr. Dre, Flogging Molly, the Foo Fighters, Garth Brooks, Incubus, Jack Johnson, Jay-Z, Jimmy Eat World, Just Surrender, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Manchester Orchestra, Matisyahu, Metallica, MUSE, Nirvana, R.E.M., Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Saosin, Say Anything, Senses Fail, Story of The Year, Sublime, System of A Down, Taking Back Sunday, Trapt, The Used, Weezer, Minus The Bear, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, The Smiths, Iron & Wine, Bring Me The Horizon, As I Lay Dying, MayDay Parade, A Day To Remember, Dance Gavin Dance, Chiodos, Underoath, The Rocket Summer, Motion City Soundtrack, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Tiger Army, SOJA, Secondhand Serenade, The Offspring, Kid Cudi, Tupac, N.W.A, Biz Markie, Eazy E, Johnny Cash, Bayside, Thrice, Sparta, Smoking Popes, Four Year Strong, Houston Calls, Halifax, La Dispute, Emancipator, Nero, The M Machine, Madeon, Pendulum, Justice, Kavinsky and the list keeps going. If you know a band you think I'd like that aren't on the list feel free to share!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

My job
Beer (and I mean that in the least alcoholic way possible)
Football (As in the soccer variety)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
A ridiculous amount of totally random shit. I have an eidetic memory and ADD, which make for a fantastic combination.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with friends, playing hockey or at home relaxing.

Depends on the Friday, the weather and a host of other variables.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well it wouldn't be private if I admitted it now would it?
You should message me if

You want to.

You thought I sound interesting.

You wanna talk about a band you think I'd like or a good beer you'd recommend.
