My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi! Ima Heckler should let you know that I am quick witted and value humor. I've had one really wonderful love in my life. He was absolutely terrific but has moved on. I'm happy with who I am. I love creativity in all formats; I paint, sculpt and write, but truly love music, photography, dance, theater and anything handmade. I am not so much an outdoor person, but who can beat the redwoods or the ocean for inspiration and peace? I am moving back to the bay area in July. I've lived in Austin and San Francisco before moving to the East Coast, Ithaca, NY. I had no idea winters were so cold. I suppose it doesn't help that I have lived along the Cayuga.

I'm a big woman with a lot of class. I love beautiful clothes and I'm nuts about lingerie....it leaves a lot to the imagination! Once had a BLT Party (Black Tie, Lingerie or Toga)! You just wouldn't believe what people will wear in public! Plus I scored a literally unknown talent to provide the music for my party......Alejandro Escovedo. I'd love to meet up with him again and ask if he remembers the crazy broad in the black bustier at that party back in Austin, TX!

I have a compassionate, caring side, a rebel side (related to truth and justice) and a "let it rip" side, am spontaneous and carefree.

I have always had a thing for feeding the hungry. I prefer dogs, but do not currently have one, prefer chocolate to any other decadent treat, and hotels over camping.

I'm completely baffled by "chemistry" ~ I'm open to everyone because I just don't know who will have that certain je ne sais quoi that relates directly to chemistry. Humor is on the list; I know that I like to laugh. You'll have to be your own judge.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I had two years in Ithaca, NY and it's definitely time to move on. Having worked for a peace organization for the previous five years, I'm ready for a new adventure..........I am currently the host of an airbnb business. I have met some truly wonderful people from all walks of life, every age level and from all parts of the world.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
friendship, creative endeavors, planning, organizing and caring for people. I trust easily enough but have had my fair share of scam artists trying to pull one over on me. I'm kindhearted but there is no sap who lives here. I'd rather give my money to the guy on the corner with a cardboard sign or someone playing music on the streets. They are transparent enough for me.
The first things people usually notice about me

is my sense of humor. I'm quick witted, somewhat sarcastic, easy to be around and really love to laugh ~ even at myself!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite Book: FATHER JOE THE MAN WHO SAVED MY SOUL by Tony Hendra.
Favorite Movies: I love a good baseball movie, so Bull Durham, 42. Also love Pretty Woman, Gravity was awesome.
Favorite Show on Television: Mad Man; I love any good story! Newsroom, The Good Wife and Steve Harvey are also thought provoking, complicated and funny. Downton Abbey, Charlie Rose. Bye bye to David Letterman.....my fave of the late nighters.
I like all kinds of music. My least favorites are jazz & Nashville Country.......although there are exceptions to every rule, like Latin Jazz and Texas "Country" if you can call it that......Lyle Lovette, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Willie; it's hard to have lived in Austin and not like the music scene.
Favorite Food: Chocolate (like duh!)

I was once top seeded in a tennis tournament only to fall to my defeat because both bra straps broke. It was funny and sad and totally embarrassing. It was before there was such a thing as sports bras!

If you think of yourself as a great friend, a hopeless romantic who loves to kiss, someone who has the capacity to inspire and lives within 50 miles of the Bay area and........ is a man who loves women of substance both with curves and brains, please say hello!
