My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am: Independent, eccentric, contemplative, resourceful, creative and clever. I have a dream, and some people call me Maurice*.

Sarcastic, sardonic, and inappropriate (at appropriate times) is the best way to describe my humor.

Lets cut through the crap, I am socially awkward- and not great with sending that initial email. Once I get to know someone most of that awkwardness seems to fade away.

*Nobody calls me Maurice.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work a steady job that pays well.

I am also working on opening up a movie theater, it's always been a dream of mine and I am taking the initiative to make it happen.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing the occasional short story or poem. I love a good metaphor and am currently writing a piece that could develop into something good.

I can cook. Be amazed.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The way that I carry myself has been mentioned.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I am currently reading Game of Thrones. My favorite book of all time though is still 1984- it is scary how true it has become in our society.

Movies include a wide variety ranging from comedies such as Black Dynamite to suspense such as Seven and thrillers such as Fargo.

I enjoy alot of television too much to list, but my top favorites are: Hannibal, Community, Game of Thrones, Archer, Sherlock, and the holy grail of television Breaking Bad.

Musically I like some weird stuff like Cake, They Might Be Giants, Garfunkel and Oats, Simon and Garfunkel (older band), and The Killers. I listen to NPR on the regular- also variety of podcasts. There are some very compelling serialized audio dramas that I listen to as well.

I have a PS3 may get a four sometime. The Metal Gear series is by far my favorite. I enjoy mostly single player games, as narrative means a great deal to me.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
How about I buck the norm and write about a few things that I have done without over the past five years?

A microwave- even if they existed (i don't believe in them, long story) I wouldn't have one.

Cable, HA! *remove hose from wallet*

3D movies. A fad and a bad one.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The nature of man and the society that we create. How something so odd to some can be completely normal to another.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with family and friends (on the occasion that they aren't busy with their spouses, kids and what not)

Catching up on various media.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I enjoy the movie Grease- even after years of claiming that I hate it to my family. I still deny that it's a good movie to them to this day.
