Currently looking to make new friends.

My interests tend to be wide ranging... philosophy, classical civilizations, politics ,sundry forms of info-tainment; You know the stuff books, games, film, video, ect. ;)

Personality type: INTJ

Philosophically I am rather fond of the Stoics,

I prefer hard science and tight logic. (ouch) history at its best is accurate and barring that edifying! Politics is best when practical and tasked with doing battle with "anarchy" and "megalomania" where ever they might arise! (This might be a bit more melodramatic than required! )

Personally I am less than the sum of my ambitions and more than the sum of my drives, but, otherwise I'm good for extended conversations from the sublime to the ridiculous.

Always looking for new friends with a wicked sense of humor and independent intellectual streaks. Discussions, Dinners and Diversions of various kinds make our limited times on earth all worth while.

I am philosophical, a Stoic, and dilettante

Music: Currently really into the era of the 78 LP....1917-1953. There is a great internet radio stations Radio Nostalgia that is catering to this need. This and my interest in Electronica, have me listening to a lot Electronic Swing. I also enjoy stuff like Metric, Radiohead, Paul Van Dyke, R.E.M, Placebo, BauHaus, Crash Test Dummies, Brandtson, Spookyland etc.

Food: I have weakness for pastries; There are only three items I do not like and they all begin with L...Liver, Lamb and Lima Bean.

I enjoy games but have settled on classic board games like Go and Chess.
