I am Intelligent, Considerate, and Innovative.

My Self-Summary

I'll just tell you what I love and let you form your own ideas. I love rides down quiet highways on moonlit spring nights. I love the smell of freshly mowed grass accompanying a cold bottle of beer. I love the thrill of the first kiss. I love shooting the breeze with a friend 'till 5 in the morning. I love listening to the songs of my youth with just enough buzz to make me smile for no reason. I love kinky women. I love planning tomorrow and seeing it unfold. I love the way my kids constantly surprise me with a comment that I wouldn't have expected from them in five years let alone this morning. I love margaritas with a spicy dinner. I love waking up with morning wood. I love the sense of accomplishment that comes after a project is completed. I love reese's cups and milk. I love the sound of snow crunching underfoot during a late afternoon walk home. I love that pretty girl that looked at me just a little longer than she had to and the smile when she saw that I was looking back. I love the first bite of Thanksgiving dinner. I love the obscure. I love someone bringing me a cool drink when I'm in bed with a fever. I love scratching that itchy left testicle when I finally get alone for a minute. I love payday. I love the sidelong glances I get right after I work out. I love a good book and a glass of sangria. I love to cook. I love hearing people brag about my kids. I love falling to sleep with a well shaped thigh underhand. I love being the only one who knows the answer to the spontaneous trivial question. I love logic. I love the sensual... Did I mention sex? In the interest of full honesty, I'd have to say I love that, too.

What I’m doing with my life

I spent the last two years working my... er... posterior off so that I might retire (very) early. So at 37 I'm calling it quits on the whole working thing. Gives me more time to spend with my two daughters. Oh, and I'm spending the next five or six months in Phoenix with them. We'll probably be going back to TN in late Spring.

I’m really good at

Most anything I try... That's not conceit. I'm just lucky.

The first things people usually notice about me

That I'm rather quiet.
...I'm accused of talking over most peoples heads so quiet seems like a good tact initially.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: This is kinda weird but I like reading reference or text books. Otherwise, anything by Terry Pratchett, Niel Gaiman, Douglas Adams, Clive Barker, Harry Turtledove, H.P. Lovecraft, Anne Rice, Stephen King, Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, Berk Breathed, Orson Scott Card, and so on. I guess I should include Heavy Metal Comics in this section as well.

Movies: Second Hand Lions, Blade Runner, Seven, O'Brother Where Art Thou, Fight Club, Nurse Betty, Pulp Fiction, Happy Gilmore, Sin City, A Clockwork Orange, Layer Cake, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Rapa Nui, Closetland, The Princess Bride, Heathers, Falling Down, Gladiator, Amadeus, Blue Velvet, Forest Gump, A Scanner Darkly, Titus (Andronicus), The One, Running Scared, anything by Pixar, Kalifornia, The Notebook, Monte Python's Life of Brian, Kingpin, Snatch, Gangster No. 1, pretty much anything that makes me stop and ask, "What the hell... did that just happen?"

Music: XM is programmed for the Indie, Classic Rock, Alternative, Metal, Punk, Techno, Classical, and just to mess with people, Bluegrass.

Food: I love food. If I have a problem with something, it can probably be remedied with enough cheese, butter, hot sauce or mustard. Chinese is great but Japanese is better. German rocks and I'll grudgingly admit that the French have a few dishes worth eating. We have a little Italian place here called Mama Rosa's that makes a truly remarkable Stromboli. I've tried Mexican all over the country including the entire length of the boarder and on into Mexico and invited friends from many of these places to put my claim to the test. The conclusion is: NO ONE compares to El Tapatio here in Cookeville. Just ask for the chicken fajitas nachos.

The six things I could never do without

Food, drink, air and my daughters. I've done without everything else at some point in my life.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything. Robert Heinlein once said that specialization is for insects. I've tried to think as broadly as possible.

On a typical Friday night I am

More often than not, I'm doing something with my kids. Could be a movie, a random project, a field trip, or just trying to find the worst possible food for our health and indulging... Otherwise, whatever sounds like fun.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Princess Diana had a $300,000 per year hydro-colonic habit. That is not a joke and I have no idea why I remembered it but...

Oh! Private to me? umm... I watch cartoons.

You should message me if

you notice someone breaking into my car... or you just wanna.
