My self-summary
Hmm... I'd consider myself a bookish type and generally intelligent. But then, when I'm around other intelligent people I usually get intimidated and decide I'm not very intelligent after all. I'm also probably a lot more social and articulate on the internet, which probably isn't a very rare quality to have.

I'd like to meet people, but in a lot of ways I feel like I'm kind of like a dog chasing cars - in that I really wouldn't know what to do with one if I actually caught one. I also apparently sound like Eeyore when trying to describe myself online. Attempted thoughtfulness comes across too easily as sullenness in text.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm in law school, most likely because I got undergraduate degrees in English and Philosophy and needed to put off the real world for a little while longer, I suppose.
I’m really good at
I used to teach guitar, so I'm pretty good at that. I'm also pretty amazing at sounding like I know what I'm talking about on the internet.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Hmm... video games and books are kind of my trade, so I'll focus on those.

Books: I just finished the Song of Ice and Fire series, and it's pretty amazing. (I have a pretty absurd crush on Samwell Tarly, which the television series has only strengthened.) My favorite books of all time are probably Brave New World, Frankenstein, Lolita, Enduring Love, and The Gay Science.

Video Games: I have a Steam profile exploding with games. I like RPGs and stuff that allows for a lot of thought and immersion. Skyrim, Fallout, Bioshock, pretty much all of (and every single) popular game of the sort that comes out. My favorite games of all time are probably: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Final Fantasy X, and Uncharted 2.

In terms of music... my favorite bands are often mocked! I'm very unashamed about what is apparently my awful taste in music, however - I love Seether, Paramore, Ryan Star, Taylor Swift. Nothing particularly impressive or obscure, but I mostly just listen to new stuff Spotify suggests or whatever's on the radio.
The six things I could never do without
An internet connection, something interesting to read. I'm so extraordinarily resourceful that I can survive on two things - anything else I think of really just pales in comparison to those anyway.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Philosophy, politics, irrelevant backstories for characters I've made up, books. Internal arguments with myself over irrelevant issues, and as of very recently, what it would be like if a natural disaster went down in the Pooh universe. I recently saw an excerpt from a Pooh book where Eeyore referenced earthquakes, and it just struck me as odd and out of place. Yikes, two Pooh references in one profile. Try not to overburden me with messages in your excitement, guys.
On a typical Friday night I am
Home playing video games or reading. If I were appropriately responsible the answer to that would probably be studying - but I'm starting to accept the fact that I'm the worst "diligent law student" on the planet. I'm alright with that. Occasionally I've ventured into Philly purely for drinking, but I'm almost certain there's other fun stuff there as well that I'll get around to investigating at some point.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I run two fairly prolific subreddits on reddit.com that are dedicated to television shows meant for teenage girls. Don't judge me.

  • Guys and girls who like bi guys
  • Ages 18–28

  • For new friends, casual sex
You should message me if
Eh, screw the conditional statement. Why not just message me? How well can you really get to know a person from a profile, anyway - real life rarely provides so many opportunities for carefully orchestrated witticisms and subtle self-serving statements masquerading as innocuous replies to delightfully offbeat personal profile questions. That was a lot of adjectives. Seriously though, I'm pleasant to be around, I swear it. Send me a message and we'll talk.
