My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm born and raise in LA and this city has always been awesome to me. The people here is a great mix of quirky and unique, it keeps things interesting and lively. The experiences I've had so far has been great and I'm looking forward to meeting more LAist.

I am not a TV-type person although I do enjoy outings to the movies and listening to the old-school radio. I love listening to NPR, especially This American Life and A Prairie Home Companion. As for my hobbies, I enjoy hiking, climbing, and most anything outdoors.

I also enjoy doing photography, it forces me to see things from a different angle and perceive details that would otherwise go unnoticed. Photography reveals so much hidden beauty in things, from the symmetry of buildings to the uniqueness in people. I try to do it as much as I can when I have time, I find it very relaxing and super fun. If you want to check out some random shots, I have them up at: https://iris.lifeofram.com/gallery/

I am fun, eclectic, and random
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At times I am a workaholic, I am a very hard working person and I am pretty good at what I do. My motto is: "Work hard to play harder." I work in both the genetics and IT industry, I enjoy the challenges it presents.

I am also a career student at UCLA since I love to learn; there is waaay too many interesting things to be learned and so little time to learn.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
random and crazy ideas. I once biked from San Francisco to Los Angeles just because it sounded interesting. Sometimes I run around late at night and have met some pretty *interesting* (i.e. crazy) people. And being chased around by the local po-po for being a night lurker, its never dull, hehe.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Superficially the first thing people often notice is my hair first, girls seems to like my hair and embarrassingly they'd tell me my hair would look great on a girl. =P

Personality-wise people find me as having a very laid-back personality and I would have to agree! I vent for working so hard by relaxing and shooting the breeze with friends.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Hrm, this is a bit tough since theres not too many things I can't do without... If I had to take a guess, I probably can't do without my good friends, books, Reddit, the outdoors, sudokus, and sarcasm.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
... random thoughts, like why aren't there such a word like:
smallen - to make smaller
mices - many groups of mice
boldslock - something stronger than capslock

... ways to save the world:
empathy - teach it and preach it, it will probably make everyone happier and possibly more important than intelligence
unity - promote people to be loyal to the human race instead of regions, cities, countries, ethnicity, etc.
cleaner air - Global warming or not, we should be clean for sake of cleanliness. Who doesn't want to live in a cleaner world?

... why thats silly:

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends, going to the movies, loitering at the park, swinging on the playgrounds, weekend road trips, light drinking, and okay dinning.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have the a thing for Nicole Kidman. Intellectually, I often see myself as a wolf in sheep's clothing.

you are adventurous and a weekend night owl. You should be fun and humorous, also being sarcastic is always a plus. You are confident and fearless, willing to try new things. You are fit inside and out and have a positive and strong self-image. I think these attributes are necessary for us to be partners in crime.

If you're the shy bit, wink at me and I'll strike up the conversation. (=
