My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a traveling chef. That's right. Get in line ladies. Also, apparently I'm "surprisingly multi-dimensional."
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Someone much wiser than I once said "Life is what happens in between your plans" I have my awesome plans and perhaps someone will change them for me. But it hasn't happened so far :-)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being modest. Seriously. And being honest. All else I am good at will be revealed at a time of my choosing.
The first things people usually notice about me

Usually nothing, as an aspiring ninja.... but it does happen. Those that do don't last long.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Ok I'm going to actually be kind of serious with this one, as I spend most of the free time I have reading. Reading Contact right now, and if you don't appreciate the genius that was Carl Sagan, we won't get along. I recently finished The Wheel of Time series. Sometimes you accomplish something in reading that no one will ever know or care about. Whatever it still feels good. Hunter S. Thompson, Neil Degrasse Tyson, Stephen Hawking, I seem to find things no one should really enjoy reading and well.... enjoy reading them. Also, I find myself not really liking a lot of "classics"or really popular writers. Cormac Mccarthy, J.D. Salinger, F. Scott Fitzgerald = overrated.
I would love to find someone who also sees the genius that is Tomas Kalnoky, but the odds of finding someone who is into the same obscure things as me are... astronomical :-)
It's difficult to describe how I feel about reading, in a society of instant rewards. Those who do, get it.
I'm reasonably certain that advertising is the Devil, so I don't watch TV. Most movies that aren't shoving more products down my throat are cool with me.
I have been working in professional kitchens for 12 years so food, I simply don't have the words or the time. Ask me in person.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
At least one supernova and maybe two. Yea, I'm full of cosmic jokes tonight. Right now, feels about like a jacket, a fire, gloves, boots, hat and a......more fire.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
When I go to bed I think about something ridiculously fun I have done in the past... Dropping cliffs in Steamboat, surfing double over heads in Hawaii or Australia, parasailing in Malaysia.
When I want to feel accomplished I think about the ridiculous restaurants I have worked in.
When I want to feel loved I think about all the amazing people I have in my life. The hardest part of living the life I do is having to say goodbye to great people so often. I think about that when I want to feel sad.
I spend a lot of time thinking about how great this ride has been so far, all the amazing sunsets I have seen around the world, the Northern Lights. I wake up every morning looking down the valley over Heber, across that huge valley that shoots straight up into those gigantic mountains. I spend a lot of time loving my life.
All that being said there is nothing on this planet more beautiful than a woman's smile. I love making other people laugh and am looking for the woman I can make happy the rest of my life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
"You say there is no love, my love,
unless it lasts for aye.
Ah folly, there are episodes
far better then the play"
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I once loved a woman so well I got fired. Yep.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You won't. This section should be changed to "You should respond to me if..." And thus I shall answer: You thought my message was semi-entertaining and made you laugh or think; as quite a few of you have pointed out yourselves, if I was just looking for a good time, I would go to the bar and have one. If I have messaged you it means I saw something in your profile (yes I read every word) that I identify with or find attractive (Emotionally/spiritually/intellectually). The point is I stopped responding to a pretty face years ago, so if I sent you something it means I want to get to know you, not have sex with you.
Also, if you have a duckface picture I missed, don't respond. I feel creepy staring at people's photos so I don't give those much more than a cursory glance. The female equivalent to ab shots. Ladies, stop it. It's not hot. It's strange.
If you love to laugh, love to travel and discover new things and have a sense of responsibility enough to not be a flake, we shall get along famously.
