I am a fun-loving, down-to-earth, and educated guy originally from the midwest, although my journeys have taken me very interesting places. Most recently, they have taken me to Boston for graduate school, but I have returned back home to complete my education. My sense of humor spans the gamut, as do my musical tastes; with me you never know what you are going to get. :)

I am a master's student in Counseling Psychology, with a particular affinity for Latin-American outreach. It is very interesting work, and I appreciate the ability to help people in any way I can. I know this sounds rather generic, but I recently practiced in a clinic that serves the community in all sorts of capacities as a not-for-profit. I certainly have had my struggles in life, and I feel it is a worthwhile pursuit to use this knowledge to help those in need.

The journey that brought me to this point is a very long story, and some say it is even interesting! I will save that for those who message me and wish to know more. :)

- Baking (as I studied pastry, particularly chocolates)

- Real estate (worked as a Realtor) :P

- Technical stuff (studied computer science)

- Providing love and support for those who are important to me.

- Finding the humor in any situation. :)

- Wacky accents and impressions! :D

Usually my sense of humor... and I've been told my eyes and smile are also nice. :P

I am currently addicted to the television show "Fringe," as I find the characters are well-written, comical, entertaining, and it has a cerebral element to it which I find engaging. I also watch BBC World News, because I find that their broad coverage of world events is far better than US based news outlets.

As far as books, I enjoy those that make me think, I have read a lot of classical literature and I tend to lean towards philosophical books as they sometimes allow me to think in an uncontemplated perspective. I can elaborate on this, but I would rather speak about it first-hand, if this even slightly intrigues you. :P

My musical tastes are all-over-the-place, as I LOVE classic rock but have music in my library from every genre. Although country is my least favorite, I find that there does not exist a genre that completely disinterests me, so I have a few of those as well. I also listen to music of all flavors in Hindi and Spanish! Additionally, other stuff in languages I do not understand, just because I enjoy the way they sound. :P When I have my iPod on "shuffle," people tend to react with a resounding WOAH because of the eclectic nature of my musical tastes. :)

Food I could go on and on about, it is certainly one of my greatest loves! I enjoy food from all cultures, but particularly spicy food! Middle-Eastern and Italian food also hold a special place in my heart because, although they are not "spicy" in the traditional sense, they are replete with those spices which add flavor and heartiness to food. YUM! :)

Lastly, I had to mention DESSERT! I LOVE CHOCOLATE, more than most women do in fact! :D I tend to try to incorporate chocolate into any dessert which I believe it will complement. I also sometimes have dessert before the main course, since I enjoy mixing it up sometimes. :P

Love, food (obviously :P), good books, intelligent people and social interaction with them (Did I just cheat? Is that two things? :P), and of course humor. I guess that is five... unless one of them is two-in-one... is anyone really counting? :P

New activities I have not yet tried and formulating a plan of action to try them. Skydiving is my latest fixation. :)

I would say chilling with friends, before I re-entered graduate-school, but I still make time to go out with friends, watch a movie, play tennis, go bowling, or anything the night may possibly bring.

I am a very open person in many ways, but first the effort has to be made to reach out, so not here. ;)
