My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Film, music, art and low-brow/high-brow culture lover... Foreign films, robots and zombies, oh my...

Having grown up in a crazier weather location, I have a lot of indoor-type interests. I'm both a high-brow and low-brow culture fanatic, so I love film, music, art and literature as much as I love zombies, elves, spaceships and robots. I get just as much pleasure out of playing a board game, watching a quirky comedy film or a great tv show like Homeland, Walking Dead or Game of Thrones as I do from watching a deep foreign drama, spending a day in a museum or a night at a play. I do also love nature and being out in it but I'm not the kind of person that needs to be at the ocean every day...and I don't feel the need to be involved in daily outdoor, daredevil activities just because: San Diego says so.

I love deep intellectual conversation and the chance to discuss politics, philosophy or the state of the world...but that definitely has to be balanced with an equal amount of (if not more) silly, ridiculous or completely stupid conversation. I enjoy humor in all its forms and my own sense of humor ranges from playful to quirky to completely irreverent (when appropriate).

As for a partner...although I myself am an extrovert, I've found there's definitely great truth in the old adage that opposites can attract and many of the people I've been closest to in life have been people that were very much introverts. I'm really just looking for that connection we're all looking for: Someone who loves sharing their every day moments and experiences with another. Someone who's not just looking for a "significant other" but their best friend. Someone who loves the idea of learning from and sharing with each other every day…while also making each other laugh until we literally pee (well, maybe not literally. Or……maybe!). And someone who can enjoy going out to a new art installation, restaurant, used book store or museum exhibition as much as staying in and sitting around together, doing absolutely nothing but enjoying a good film, listening to a new album, discussing random nonsense or creating a masterpiece…using nothing but our thumbs!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Watching a lot of movies. Reading too many books at once. Playing fun board games and irreverent card games. Binge-watching some amazing tv series. Drinking far too much diet coke.
