My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
First of all, I rarely message first. Honestly, based on anecdotal evidence, I have some idea of what the female experience is like on OKC, and so I default to the idea that "if she's interested, she'll actually say hello". It's likely a maladaptive attempt to be chivalrous; we'll see how this theory plays out.

So... disclaimers aside, here's me:

I'm into dating, which includes dinner, movies, motorcycle rides, exploring NYC, cooking together in a tiny kitchen, and possibly a lot of adventurous sex. I'm also down for just tossing back a couple of drinks with a clever stranger.

I'm chill, I'm new to New York, I like dates. Like, the old fashioned kind. We should go on one.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I eat, I drink, I travel, I code. I'm a software engineer, which means that my job is making tiny, invisible robots to do my bidding. I ride my motorcycle very fast in traffic, this summer I rode a bicycle from Canada to Baja del Sur, just because it sounded like a good idea at the time (Spoilers: it was). To kill time in between adventures, I track down bars that make really wicked Bourbon drinks, but since I've decided that 'drinking alone' is still 'drinking alone' even if you do it in public, I'm spending my first few weeks in NYC reading a lot, rather than hanging out in the wretched hives of scum and villainy I tend to prefer. We should meet for drinks.

I'm looking for people who think jumping out of an airplane together would make a great second date. Bonus points if they enjoy a clever conversation and look good by candlelight. I'd like to meet people that are open to fucking off to Berlin for a week on short notice, and like late-night cocktails in bars with stunning views. I'm looking for friends, I'm looking for a lover, I'm looking for a partner in crime.

This is a conversation much better had over dinner, but...

I like sci-fi and horror, history books and heist flicks, and post- apocalyptic dystopias. I'm a closet sucker for rom-coms. I also love cookbooks, girl-on-girl porn, political non-fiction, and looking at maps.
The six things I could never do without

The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Being a 'Fifty Shades of Gray' fan is a total deal breaker; being a 'Secretary' fan is exactly the opposite. If you can read between the lines there, we'll get along smashingly. Enough said.
