My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I just got accepted to a grad school out of state and I'll be leaving Denver this July, so I'm not really looking for anything serious. I'm basically looking for someone cool to hang out and have sex with. Hopefully if you message me, you will have read this first.

Anyhow, I play a lot of ultimate frisbee and I try to get a lot of hikes in during the summer (currently workin' on a 14er checklist). During the Winter, I ski and play hockey, but I'm not sure how much skiing I'll find in the Midwest... I'm also a complete music addict and I love reading books and talking philosophy.

I'm also a pretty goofy person.... If you've ever read The Unbearable Lightness of Being, you'll understand what I am saying when I say I believe the world is a fundamentally light place. I try not to take most things too seriously and I loooove to make snarky jokes about things that others hold dear. Because it's fun.

Also I really love going out and meeting people, but I am truly an introvert at heart. When I'm out, I will talk to all kinds of new people and I think I'm pretty good socially, but once that time is over, I REALLY need time alone to recharge. If you can relate to this, I feel like we will get along very well.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in the ER and I get pretty busy. When I get free time, I like to read, play ultimate frisbee or hockey, go to a show, or just laze around. I used to be more into the bar scene, but I think I'm already out of that phase. Still love a good show though.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Having an open mind. I'm really willing to try anything once. I am passionately curious.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like sarcasm.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

David Foster Wallace is probably my all-time favorite author, but I loves me some Don DeLillo, Murakami, Vonnegut, Pynchon and Huxley... lots of postmodern fiction. I FINALLY finished Infinite Jest after about a year of working at it. So very much worth it. I've been working on The Pale King lately.

All time favorite TV series is the Wire, but I like Futurama, Daily Show/Colbert, Arrested Development, Jeopardy!, Adventure Time, Louis, Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Peep Show...

I consume music like food... I listen to a lot of shoegaze/dream pop, post-rock, hip-hop, jazz, ambient, and electronic. Favorites include Explosions in the Sky, Tool, Miles Davis, Nas, My Bloody Valentine, Sigur Ros, The Wu Tang Clan, Daft Punk, Massive Attack, Wilco, Porcupine Tree, Stars of the Lid, Pavement, My Morning Jacket, Danny Brown... etc etc. Literally the ONLY genre I don't really touch is metal.

As far as actual food goes, I try to kinda sorta eat healthy... though I'm not always perfect at it (see: my obession with Chipotle). When it comes down to it, I'll honestly eat anything. SRIRACHA ON EVERYTHING.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:

1. Music
2. Nature, The Outdoooors
3. Exercise
4. My Friends/Family
5. The internet
6. Something to Read
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The way things work, eating a snack, psychology, people, maybe getting a snack, statistics, biology, having a snack, cosmology, cognition, snacking, philosophy, the philosophy of snacking.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually with friends, at a show, or just hangin' around. I like to go out to the bars once in a while but it's not my go-to Friday night like it is for a lot of people. There's so many other things I'd rather do.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
