Me?? I get to talk about me??? Um, let's see... I'm pretty random and eclectic and I giggle as much as I argue. I'm into a little bit of everything and like trying new things (usually). Wow, this is a lot harder than I thought. I love a good challenge in life. My friend Rachel is always teasing me about that one. I've grown up on the water and I can't imagine a life without it. I'm a sucker for a sailboat, what can I say? I'm out in Montana right now (I know! This totally conflicts with the previous statement... I'm still trying to work it all out!), but heading back to Maryland in the spring for family reasons. I'm still hoping to see a bit of the world in the next few years though before I start settling down. I don't keep too many close friends, but the ones I have are loyal and that's all that matters. Anyway, that's me in a nutshell. Take me as you will. I'm stubborn, have a SLIGHT attitude problem, and I'm an adventurer deep down. lol, but I'm cute!

For right now I'm trying to enjoy life as it comes at me, trying to get in as many new experiences in life as I can. So far I've worked on a military base in Maryland, been a tour director in Alaska, and now I'm working as a 911 emergency dispatcher in Montana. I have a year left of school (University of Idaho) and I'll graduate with two degrees (International studies and military theory) when I decide to go back. Right now it's all about living one day at a time (and trying not to get speeding tickets).

Well, I've mastered the art of howling at the moon and speaking the rapid tongue of the hyper. lol, nah. I'm just a talker. I can talk to anyone about anything at any time. People are often amazed by this. I'm a very easy going person. I'm also good at going for what I want. Nothing is ever impossible unless you don't try. Hm, I'm beginning to think I'm good at too much and I'm too arrogant... maybe I should be less perfect ;)

Actually, I can answer this question because in two years I've moved three times and it tends to be the same thing: I'm extremely confident and flexible and have a bubbling personality. LOL, well, something like that anyway.

I'm a book worm who owns over 1, 700 books and you want me to name just a few? Okay, well, how about The Witch of Cologne by Tobsha Learner, Pale Horse Coming by Stephen Hunter, The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, Kushiels Legacy Trilogy by Jacqueline Carey, The Beach by Alex Garland, Ghost Soldiers by Hampton Sides; The Traveller by John Twelve Hawkes, The Janson Directive by Robert Ludlum, the Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon, and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin...was that too many? Ooops...

I'm a huge movie buff. Some of my favorites are The Fifth Element; Top Gun; Sixteen Candles; Spy Game; Thirteenth Warrior; Princess and the Warrior; Maverick; Sommersby; Memoirs of a Geisha; Double Jeopardy; Meet Joe Black; The Rock; and The Last Castle.

I like any music, but I tend to lean toward rock and alternative. Don't forget my classical! I like my Bach. Overall, I like everything with a beat. Give it to me hard or soft, I'm pretty eclectic.

My favorite foods? Any..I'm not picky (but no liver, anchovies, or spaghetti squash! Ok, maybe I'm a bit picky). I love a steak (rare) hot off the barbeque or fresh caught blue crabs. I'm a big fan of sushi and went to a class to learn to make it. I don't know. I love to cook and love to eat. I had 3 'growing' brothers so there was always something cooking at home.

What about favorite activities? Where else would I put that I love kayaking, fishing, ATVing, etc? :)

My dog, my car complete with a full tank of gas and an open highway, my sense of adventure :P, my books, wacky humor hidden within a serious conversation (you know those ones! Those ones where it seems like a normal down to earth discussion until you realize what's actually being said and then you can't help but laugh), and my hoodies ...and in that order!

The Future. The possibilities. I'm a dreamer, I can't help it. When I'm 80 and look back at my life I don't want to be overcome by all the regrets for the things that I didn't do.

Out with friends. Lately we've been hanging out watching movies and eating delivery or walking on the river trails, but I tend to love a good game of pool. Lots of that! Back home I play a lot of mini put-put. Dorks, all of us :P
