My Self-Summary
I think of myself as an intellectual, but I never take myself too
seriously. I'm goofy and a bit corny at heart, and I love to make
people laugh. I'm a writer by trade. and I truly enjoy what I
do. I'm very creative and I like to find new ways to use it. I
enjoy nature
walks, playing Wii, travel, discussing everything from
music to religion, local events, occasional concerts, and theater. I have also
embraced my inner geek and enjoy paper RPGs (if not taken too
seriously). I'm allergic to drama. I just overcame my fear of
needles and got my first tattoo and I'm anxious to get more!
What I’m doing with my life
In the last year, I've quit smoking, mostly quit drinking, and gave
up caffeine. Going back to college soon to study English and technical writing. Just moved
back into a new place, so I'm on a bit of a decorating kick. My
main focus right now is finishing my first novel and losing more
weight. I spend a few hours every evening to work on my novel,
which is a sci-fi comedy. So far it's as much fun to write as it is
to read! I hope to have it published by next year! I also volunteer
for MarCon, a local sci-fi convention.
I’m really good at
Listening, understanding, one-liners, amusing myself and amusing
others, self-depreciation, believing in my friends... mostly, I'm a
jack of all trades, so I'm a decent at most things.
The first things people usually notice about me
When I have a beard, I look like Kevin Smith. When I don't, I look
like Jack Black. (Perhaps they look like ME, ever think of that?!)

Movies include Across the Universe, Krull, Legend, Ladyhawke, Labyrinth, The Last Samurai, The Dark Crystal, Benny and Joon, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Thank You For Smoking, Burn After Reading, How To Lose Friends and Alienate People, Airplane!, and Serenity. I'm also a fan of a few TV shows like Firefly, Buffy, Angel, Legend of the Seeker, Babylon 5, Dead Like Me, MXC, Rifftrax, and Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Musically, I love everything from symphony to scream metal. I'm picky on my rap and country. I'm a huge fan of TOOL, Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, Shiny Toy Guns, Delerium, Sarah Brightman, and many others. I get a lot of soundtracks to inspire scenes when I write.
Food-wise, I love Chinese, Mexican, Thai, Pho, pizza, and bd's Mongolian Barbecue.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Spiritualism.
I am a Christian, but a breed apart. I do not think my path is
right for everyone, and that everyone has a right to believe
whatever they will. I love having a diverse group of friends.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I died when I was a kid. drowned in our back swimming pool. CPR
brought me back. That's one of the reasons why my interests are so
diverse, I want to experience as much as possible!
