My self-summary
1976 model human male, excellent condition.*

Fitted with these amazing features:
pragmatic optimism, dry (and slightly evil) sense of humour, a curious lateral mind, a healthy serve of empathy and warm, an offbeat kind of charm, creative and artistic skills out the wazoo, something that can yes best described as awkward grace, spiritual seeker, capacity for deep, philosophic thought and more.

What I’m doing with my life
That's the very question I'd been asking myself for quite a while...

I'd arrived at the (in hindsight glaringly obvious) conclusion that the run-of-the-mill 9-5 job was never going to offer the direction in life I wanted to explore. So I packed my bags and drove from Perth to Melbourne to forge a new path.

Since then I've had challenges a-plenty but I'm able to work in illustration, game design, graphic design and now expanded into writing a interactive novel for kids. Being able to let the imagination really run around is an incredibly satisfying experience.
I’m really good at
- Finding the ridiculous in things
- Making people laugh when they are drinking something (simple pleasures!)
- Making breakfast on weekends
- Finding the positive in things
- Drawing like a boss
- Putting people at ease
- I don't know if I can say I'm good at it, but I do try to meditate every day
- Like, heaps of other stuff
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes tend to be the first thing. Apparently they change colour!

I'd also like to say my youthful good looks, but that might be wishful thinking on my part.. ;)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - Murakami, Mieville, Vonnegut, Robbins, Eco plus I have plenty of time for art and design reference books. (When I last moved, I think the contents of the bookcases accounted for half the boxes... It's not a problem, I can stop any time I want!!)

Movies - Anything by Hayao Miyazaki, Inception, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Being John Malkovich, Life is Beautiful, City of Lost Children, Delicatessen, Matrix, Moon.

TV - Game of Thrones, Mighty Boosh, The Wire, Madmen, Futurama, Deadwood, Breaking Bad, Rome, Six Feet Under.

Music - TV on the Radio, Goldfrapp, Okkerville River, Radiohead, Animal Collective, Boards of Canada, Died Pretty, The Triffids, Dirty Three, Gomez, Lamb.

Food - Thai, mexican, italian, ethiopian, those squishy custard ball things... One day I hope to be as good at making food as I am at devouring it. A man can dream....
The six things I could never do without
Good books
Sketchbook and pencils
Central nervous system
That niggling need for adventure
The internet (don't judge me!!)
Sense of wonder
Good rewarding company
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How our mind function, where creativity comes from, what makes us tick in general, how we can become more whole, aware, enlightened beings.

What chairs would look like if we had knees on the backs of our legs...
On a typical Friday night I am
Going about my business in the manner that befits a gentleman...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once made a pizza entirely out of meat (including the base!) and I'm not sure I regret it....
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 24–41
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
curiousity gets the better of you!

Bonus points if you are someone who wants to make her own way in the world, has something of a curious, left field, creative streak and something of an explorer/seeker. Someone who looks at the mundane and thinks "How can I make this better?"
