I am someone who often finds himself stuck within his own head, sometimes for better sometimes for worse and frequently when there is something else that requires my attention. I enjoy learning new things and try to keep up on current events. I dislike rude people and do not care for gossip. I would like a long-term relationship with someone who is genuinely compassionate, intelligent without being pretentious, willing to debate without taking disagreement personally and who is at least a little bit nerdy.

I'm working as an electroneurodiagnostic technician while I complete my thesis for a masters degree in epidemiology and prepare to apply to medical school.

My favorite book is 1984, I have an interest in dystopian literature in general. I listen to all kinds of music but am passionate about symphonic music and would like a partner who would enjoy attending the symphony with me. My favorite music is from the romantic and neo-romantic periods. Some of my favorite composers are: Shostakovich, Beethoven, Saint-Saens, Prokofiev, Barber and Copeland. I enjoy movies of just about any genre if they are well made.
