My primary reason for my being on here is that I want to find a partner with whom I can build a mutually nurturing relationship, get married, and hopefully even have a child.

I am a progressive minded, articulate, sexy, intellectual, sensual man. I enjoy both quiet time and being adventurous, so I can sit quietly at home reading or watching a film, but I also do disaster relief & intervention, skydiving, hiking, parasailing, jetskiing, world travel, or just dancing the night away. I am a caring, sensitive he-man; a living paradox. I am not much of a spectator, and you would never find me sitting in front of a television watching sports- I'm more likely to be playing.
I pride myself on being well informed on matters of world affairs and current events, in fields from the arts to science, politics, and technology. I'm an information junkie, listen to NPR daily, and crave a relationship with a woman who is equally curious about her surroundings. To me, striving for an ever greater understanding of our selves, our world, and those we share it with is the essence of spirituality.
I am an ((Atheist)), (post-theist is the term I prefer) and am firm in my belief that humans need to grow beyond ancient factions of organized religions and fairy tales about how we got here if we can ever hope to survive. Imagine no religion.

Fighting for truth, justice, and numerous other progressive causes. I am an Emergency Psychiatric Clinician. I am also in the middle of renovating a 153 year old pre-Victorian home, which is frustrating me to no end, but I am looking forward to the end result.

Quite a bit, if I don't say so myself. I'm a great listener. An excellent dancer. An insightful and stimulating conversationalist. An empathic lover. Last, but not least, I'm humble. =)
