My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Tom Servo is my homeboy.

It breaks my heart that so many people know more about American Idol than what's going on in the world around them.

I also really enjoy cooking and craft beers.

I am emergent, sardonic, and smiling - someone just pointed out to me that they don't ask you the three words thing when you make a profile anymore. I have been dated.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At work, I'm using mechanical testing tools and medical imaging and to figure out the answers to questions. Outside of work, exploring the Central West End and what the rest of St. Louis is like when you're over 21.

I also like animals very much but don't yet have any pets. I would like to have a cat that resembles a miniature puma. Some of my time is dedicated to finding this animal.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cutting through bullshit
Problem solving
Getting jokes
Science (well sorta)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Siddhartha, Man's Search for Meaning, Of Mice and Men, The Weightlifting Encyclopedia, Europe, Salt, Catch 22

Movies: This could be a long list, with favorites from the very good to the laughably awful. The highlights are Ong Bak (Bruce Lee has nothing on Tony Jaa), Serenity/Firefly, The Hunt for Red October (who doesn't want a fat American wife and an RV in Montana? Well, I guess you, if you're reading this profile), Wall-E (cried profusely), Superbad (did not cry profusely), KAW!,The Toxic Avenger, Gym Kata, Hot Fuzz, and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels

Music: Eluveitie, Louis Armstrong, DMB, They Might Be Giants, Red Hot Chili Peppers. I like just about anything if it's done well for its genre, but if you like TMBG, chances are we'll get along musically.

Food: Steak, sushi, real mac n cheese, anything exotic. I'm a huge fan of good cooking; ask me about my Better than Emril squash soup! Soon I will foray into the French side of things once I find a reliable bulk butter supplier.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Chaos. Mr. Lorenz, you are so strangely attractive...

The internet; so vital for keeping in contact with friends and family across the country

Cast iron pans, as a cooking utensil and weaponry

Humor. Tried it, less fun.

Friends, because it takes more than one person to move a couch.

Coffee/tea to do stupid things faster and with more energy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why we even use the number 12 little bastard isn't even prime.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out in a low-key setting with friends. Pubs, porches, and kitchens are where it's at.

Unless there's dancing somewhere else.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can't decide if I'd want to date a telepath.

Update: Nope.
