My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
i'm sarcastic almost all of the time. i grew up mormon in utah, but sadly not in a polygamist family. i really wish i could have been a sister wife. christina ricci once told me my dress was pretty, which was the highlight of my life. when i was younger, i wanted (still want) to be lisa 'left eye' lopes. helen mirren is my spirit animal.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
watching too much television.
selling overpriced clothing to obnoxious people.
living in jersey city but acting like i still live in new york.
watching xena: warrior princess in its entirety.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
telling you the name of that random actor you recognized from that movie/tv show you watched.
unconsciously working the manson family into any conversation. they're somehow applicable to everything.
worrying.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
i'm really short. and people always think i'm about 15. i used to say 12, but i'm going to give myself the benefit of a few years. a flight attendant asked me if i wanted one of those wing pins on a flight two years ago, and i turned her down. i know it was a huge mistake.

top fives:

music: i worship kyla la grange. also lindi ortega, alex winston, tina dico, and first aid kit. my iPod is pretty much full of girls with guitars.

movies: drop dead gorgeous, smashed, martyrs, jawbreaker, and romy & michele's high school reunion. or anything diablo cody writes. basically, i like really depressing horror movies and 90s teen comedies.

television: buffy, geordie shore, happy endings, being human, and popular. almost anything british and/or supernatural. interestingly enough though, i don't really like the show supernatural.

authors: joyce carol oates, ann patchett, sloane crosley, carrie fisher, and margaret atwood. honorable mention to jeffrey eugenides.

i hate peanut butter. please don't judge me.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
my signed copy of prozac nation (i don't care what anyone thinks; elizabeth wurtzel is a badass), my family/friends, reality television, my dogs, music, my subscription to entertainment weekly, because yeah i have one.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how annoying children are.
why I can never sleep.
what would meryl do.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
selling clothes and hating life.
or going to a concert and not hating life.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
i've seen lil debbie in concert.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you are a fan of 'the facts of life.'
you were a fan of jenny lewis when she was a child actress.
you moved to new york because you wanted to be felicity.
you aren't going to talk about the whole wings thing (i don't care) or ask if my username is a queens of the stone age reference (it isn't).

as alice deejay once said, "talk to me, oooh, talk to me."
